I know exactly what you are saying. I lost my husband in Oct. of 2004, and it was a shock. We had been married for 37 1/2 years. He had had a series of heart problems, but nothing had prepared me for what I awakened to in the morning. I woke up, and he was in my arms, and he was gone. I just thank God we NEVER went to ed on an argument, and we ALWAYS told each other how much we loved them. He and I gained a lot of strength from each other and we learned a lot, as well. If I could, I would still be hanging on to him, but... | |

I met someone on here that has turned out to be a fantastic friend. Though we didn't work out as a couple, I am very glad I met him and don't know what I would do without him in my life as a friend. Posted: 11/7/2007 9:30:34 PM | I feel that I should respond here....I signed on to POF on 10-17-2007....I searched through more than 300 profiles....I placed 8 people in my favorites....What I did not know....is that when you place people in your "favorites"...They are notified....One....& Only one.....contacted me regarding me placing them in my favorites...He was the only one who had no photo & very little to say in his profile..We talked via email & IM.....Then decided to meet...Our first date lasted 11 hrs....Our second date lasted 3 days.....We are having a blast & are CRAZY for each other..We are already making plans for the future...He has kids at home. I said that I would NEVER hook up with anyone who had kids at home....This man is so special to my heart already...I am willing to adjust what I perceived as the "perfect man"...Nothing in life is perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!. I will do anything...even go out of the realm of "what I was searching for" to be with him. He calls me every moring to say...."good morning" He calls me evey chance he gets throughout the day to let me know that he is thinking of me...Tomorrow is his birthday & I won't see him until Friday.....But I am planning on making him rum cake for his b-day as he states it is his "favorite" (Even tho I have the sign in my kitchen that says...I kiss better than I cook LOL.....I already feel that I would crawl across broken glass for him....bla bla bla....But my heart is all his & I will do anything to make him smile....GO FOR IT....As No One has sufferred more abuse in a past relationship then I....I feel like dancin in the street! | |
