| hot pockets ( mexican style) Posted: 11/8/2007 5:55:14 PM | 1..Flour Tortillas: as many as you like 2..LEFT OVERS LIKE...;; a) beans /cheese b) meat and potatoes c) ham/cheese d) ground beef/vegetables e) cheese/corn f) yams/honey g) can fruits...you can boil your favorite fruits in sugar,cinnamon and little water and make your own fruits stuffings too. h)Be creative, International etc. ***Heat up the flour tortillas on the stove or a skillet ***filled them up with your desire leftovers ***fold the tortilla left side ands right side first ***then roll like a burrito ,stick a tooth pick in the center to prevent from unrolling ,while frying ***heat up a skillet with cooking oil ***fry the rolled burrito in the skillet until brown on both sides ***remove from skillet and let cool..... (.remove tooth pick) ***place in a zip lock bag marked the bags with a black permanent marker naming the kind of hot pocket it is and store in the freezer.... pull them out as you need ***reheat in the microwave ***your kids will love them and when you don't have time to cook, this will do for ***breakfast or a quick meal I used to cook this for my kids when I had 2 jobs and only had time to cook at dinner time...Every time my kids were hungry and I wasn't around to cook for them because of work,,,they just got it out of the freezer and placed it in the microwave and eat them.It was safe for them because they did not had to use the stove and it had all my home cooking .Anyways ,so I knew that what they were eating was cooked by me...They loved the ham and cheese, meat and potatoes best and the beans and cheese.......enjoy..... .disfrute.. ....delicioso.......delicious............

Just freeze the filling, then kids can m-wave and serve in a non-fried tortilla, add shreaded cheese, lettuce and tomatos...much more healthful and just as easy... | |
