Do i just not have enough patience am i being crazy for making this post. Hopefully you can help in just curious what advice i get. BE HONEST | |

2. Your info with all the "please" in it may sound desperate to some.
3. You have to have patience if you are looking for something special. Some people are happy with spending a little time with everyone that passes their way and others are more selective and pick and choose who to take the time to get to know and make it more worthwhile.
4. It may be helpful if you put more about you and what you like to do so a woman can get to know you better by reading it.

One other thing: don't be surprised if women don't respond to your emails. Some of these women get mega-bunches every day and would be hard-pressed to answer all of them unless they quit their full-time jobs! Then, there's the other contingent...those "not really too sure I want to do this..." types (I suspect, anyway) who are having second (third, fourth, etc.) thoughts about whether they're comfortable with all this. Of course, one can't forget the "attention junkies!" These folks consider it a badge of honor to have their Inbox full and only respond to handsome, well-employed individuals (doctors, dentists, anyone-with-a-Harley...)! In my age group, I classify them as "wannabe geriatric trophy wives!" After doing that, they simply wait for the site admin to delete all the old stuff and see how long it'll take to fill up again!
In short, don't take "lack of response" as an insult! Happens to all of us! Actually, I rather envy you! Wichita is chock-full of beautiful women! (or was that Springfield, MO?) | |

I have only had 2 responses. They were both, thanks, but no thanks type of reply. I am almost ready to throw in the hat. | |

Posted: 12/1/2007 11:26:03 AM | "Nature of the beast," S.! It's frustrating, but don't take an anorexic mailbox as a sign one is undesireable. Actually, on overall averages, you're probably doing better than most! At least you're getting responses from 5%!
Some of these women (well, actually, I know one) have email counts that run into the 100's on a monthly, if not weekly, basis. They'd have to quit their REAL jobs to answer all of 'em, so...
Hang in there. At least you're not paying $30+/month to be ignored! Look on the bright side! And, of course good luck! | |
