| Pumpkin dump cake recipe wanted... Posted: 11/20/2007 7:42:06 AM | I went to a potluck dinner a few years back and one woman brought a Pumpkin Dump cake. Does anyone have a recipe?
Here is a recipe for a different kind of dump cake that is really good.
1 yellow cake mix 1 can crushed pineapple 1 can cherry pie filling cube butter chopped nuts (optional)
Dump the pineapple and cherry pie filling in 9 x 13 cake pan. Sprinkle the DRY cake mix over the top. Cut the butter into chunks and drop onto the top of the dry cake mix.
Bake at about 350 for 30-35 minutes.

Pumpkin Crunch
1 pkg yellow cake mix 1 16 oz can pumpkin 1 12 oz evaporated milk 3 eggs 1 1/2 cups sugar 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1/2 tsp salt 1 c chopped pecans 1 c melted butter Whipped topping Preheat oven to 350 , Grease bottom of 9x13 pan Combine pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, salt in large bowl. Pour into pan, Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mix Top with pecans , Drizzle melted butter over top Bake at 50-55 mins until golden brown. Enjoy! | |

| Pumpkin dump cake recipe wanted... Posted: 11/20/2007 9:37:32 AM | Here is another version my brother loves this. It's not real sweet and has a lot of Pumpkin.
Pumpkin Dump Cake: 29oz. can Pumpkin 12oz. can Evaporated Milk 3 Eggs, beaten 1C. Sugar 3tsp. Cinnamon 1pkg. Golden Cake Mix 8oz. Toasted Sugared Pecans 3/4C. Butter, melt
Sugared Pecans: Spray Pecans with Butter flavored cooking spray or toss in melt Butter, sprinkle with Sugar. Toast in Oven until just golden, watch so not to burn, about 5 to 7 Min.
Preheat oven to 350. Spray 13" x 9" glass dish. Mix Pumpkin, Evaporated Milk, Eggs, Sugar and Cinnamon, pour in dish. Sprinkle with Cake Mix, then Pecans. Drizzle with Butter. Bake 50 to 55min. Cake will not be set. Let stand 10min.
Serve with Whipped Topping. | |

The way a dump recipe works is that the butter and liquid from the ingredients make the dry cake mix like a crumb topping for it. So it's perfectly fine to omit the nuts. | |
