NBA and NCAA. Who you think is going to make it all the way?

NBA: Id like to see the Rockets and the Pistons
Winner: Rockets

NCAA: Final Four UNC / UCLA. (Although I have a gut feeling that UNC wont go because they will do something wrong like they do every year)
Winner: UNC

For the NBA, I could see the Celtics going quite far in the playoffs. They're doing so well at the moment considering the big 3 have only played together for less then a month on the court. But my gut says the Spurs are going to be on top again. That team is just to good and no one on the team thinks he's the star like certain players like on the Lakers or Nets...lol.

Yeah the Celtics are doing good so far. But I mean eventually somethign will happen I think. It's gotta be a fluke. NOt saying hte Big 3 arent awsome, because they are. But it's Doc Rivers for God's sake. enough said.

Hard to say right now about the Celtics...I looked at the team stats and the Celtics are near the top in every team category. They're beating their opponents by an average better of 10 ppg. But saying that, no one on the Celtics save for Garnett has real experince in the post season. Still exciting to watch so far.

Yeah true that. But i'll still stick to the fact it's early season still. And asf or the big 3 and experience... come on Ray Allen was Jesus Shuttleworth! He can do anything.

That's the problem, season still early to tell, I agree totally. It's just I don't see many teams in the east that could challenge them yet either. The Bulls suck worse this year then they did 9 years ago. The Heat are way too old IMO. The Pistons might be the only team to give the Celtics a challenge now that I think of it. There's also the Magic...totally forgot about them and they're doing well too. Guess I just put my foot in my mouth...lol!!

Celts are the class of the East easily. Weak division and great frontline. Garnett is durable and all 3 are proven players. If their bench can hold up..I see them going deep if not winng it.

The Lakers have shocked me ( and built my bankroll..lol) Odum stays healthy they will contend..but the west is soooo tough. Suns adding Hill was a good move, Spurs can wrastle their way to a title. Dallas is on a mission...and one of my favs that will make some noise...The Nuggs. I like the new style of play from the rockettes, but the Yao act is getting a little old, and pretty plain to see when T Mac is gone, no scoring and no wins. Its a long season and he is not getting any younger. Good team, Just to many in front that are still way better.

Eastern finals.....Celtics Vs Orlando

Western.........Suns vs Dallas, or SA..or maybe...Denver..or uh..Lakers..ya thats it, those are my picks...

You forgot the Cavs , how can a team with L-J be forgotten! I think they could go far in playoff again but yeah western teams are way better and more experienced whoever they meet in the final.

i wonder when the spurs will get there due.they maybe a better team this year then last year but yet there still most people 2nd or 3rd pick to come out of the west,in my opinion with the exception of the bulls , this mabey is the best team of my life time

Oh ya..the Rockets...and damn..Utah looks good to, and if the Clippers get healthy...UGH.

The Spurs are a great team, but a repeat will be difficult even with Duncan crying all the time. I think the teams in the west build to beat the Spurs.

Cleveland has Labron and....well...they have Labron. They couldn't score last year, and they can't score this year. Orlando is off to a strong start and the Celts are freaks. I don't see them being any higher than a 5th or 6th. all the teams in the east that have trashed the Half court wrastlin match, keep it in the 80's style of play for the up tempo, will rise to the top.

i think that the key to the spurs is as much gionoblie and parker as it is ducan, and thats a great thing for the spurs.all thye teams in the east have trashed the half court wrastlin match like who the cavs , didnt they get sweeped. scoring alot of points doesnt always mean winning championships, look at the suns and tyhe 2 time mvp steve nash ( who i like alot ) what have they won?

Valid points...and Ginoble and Parker are great and do have alot to do with the winning. But if you look, SA scoring is up this year too. Orlando??..Boring ass team last year, early exit. new coach, up tempo style and they are rolling this year. The Cavs score over a 100...they win, simple as that. Last year, how did the half court style work for them...Swept!! The Suns got jobbed as far as I am concerned, They couldn't overcome some stupid calls and the game suspension to Stoudamare. But Actually, the Suns have won alot. No championship yet, but last year they were like the Pats of the NBA. They ran people off the court night in and night out. Spurs will be there come playoff time, but don't look for them to win it all, to much parity.

some good points but its pretty early in the year, the suns are the pats of the nba, that doesnt really make to much sense considering the fact of the pats have won championships and the suns have not! besides even the pats will need defense at some point.

I was referring to last year...check out the Suns record. With a fourth of the season left, they were cruising to a 1 seed, and had the best record in the NBA.

And the Pats will have to win 2 games to get to the Super Bowl, lose one and even an undefeated season was for nothing. I do respect the Spurs, how do you not?? But if they meet the Suns again...the result will be differant.

This is going to be the year that the Phoenix Suns and Steve Nash will win their first NBA championship. They will defeat the Boston Celtics or the Detroit Pistons in the NBA final. Other teams that will be highly considered to do well in this year's playoffs will be the Dallas Mavericks,San Antonio Spurs, and the Toronto Raptors.

.......i'd pick the Celts to edge out detroit in the EAST.........i'd go with the spurs in the WEST.
...the suns have never been spectacular in post season play......LA could be a surprise this year!

.......if they stay as good...and if they can get to the finals, the Celtics should win it!

The NBA title will be won by a team consisting of hugely overpaid criminals in massively overpriced sneakers.

^^^Not if it's the Toronto Raptors.
There's a new kid in town in the NBA these days. Vote for Chris Bosh.
Good kid. Rare find in the NBA these days.

[This is going to be the year that the Phoenix Suns and Steve Nash will win their first NBA championship]
i have to agree . just to many weapons . shawn (the matrix) marion , amare stoudamire ,
steve nash , grant hill , boris diaw , with leandro barbosa and raja bell comeing off the bench . and letsnot forget the run and gun way that d'antonie coaches . this is the sunsyear and i am going out on a limb and saying amare stoudamire will be the mvp he is just to dominant when he is at his best . he is a beast.
