| Logging into Plenty of Fish Posted: 11/24/2007 4:19:09 PM | Hi,
I recently had a problem logging into this site. When I logged under my username and password I kept getting this page that showed how to change the cookie settings. The page also said that I could log in under my email address instead of my user name.
I don't have this problem right now but I want to know why this happened in the first place?

| 2. | You log on using AOL, MSN, Compuserve, etc. and require special Settings to enable Cookies |
| 6. | Browser corrupt or buggy. |
| 7. | Other Users have not out of their Plentyoffish Account from the same Computer using the same Browser as you are into your Profile. |

| Logging into Plenty of Fish Posted: 6/13/2009 8:39:14 AM | | Every time I log-on YOU show me as looking for a female "65 to 75 yrs" of age. That is NOT true! Also you don't provide a way for me to change it to (45 to 60 yrs of age). If this can not be corrected, then cancel my listing and delete my email address from your records. | |

| Logging into Plenty of Fish Posted: 7/8/2009 6:54:33 PM | | Once I had to clean out my web browser as I couldn't get into POF. After several attempts it worked only when I went to an old e-mail with the POF address. Now, I'm good. | |

| Logging into Plenty of Fish Posted: 7/20/2009 11:22:02 AM | | I have used this site for about 2 weeks now and had no problems logging in or opening messages. You are now requiring me to change my security options and accept cookies I do not want on my system. Is this a requirement for on-going membership? If so, it should have been clearly spelled out when I signed up. Since I am not willing to change my settings, please take me off your system and email me notification that you have done so. If not a requirement, please re-establish the original settings so I can continue to receive the service I signed up for, and, again, please email me when I am able to access your system again. | |

| Logging into Plenty of Fish Posted: 8/20/2009 6:12:36 PM | If the site worked before, and stopped...then the requirements for the site did not change, but something, with or without your knowledge, changed the security settings on your browser.
Cookies aren't the evil we thought they once were. Most of the cookies this website would distribute are solely based on login ticket id's and such...they are not tracking cookies.
One thing that will cause this is if you bookmark the inbox page and access it thinking you'll automatically log in. In most cases, the cookies expire after a few hours. I myself can click on the bookmark on my browser and will get the same page about accepting cookies.
However, by signing up for a website, you do agree to the cookies and it was clearly spelled out, is in that ever long fine-print people do not read these days.
The website has no resonsibility to terminate your account if you no longer agree...it is your responsibility to do so, and they are not required to notify you to do so.

| Logging into Plenty of Fish Posted: 10/6/2009 7:31:48 AM | | I have the same problem, when I log in to go to my inbox it says there's a memory problem with the application. This means that it's most likely a problem with pof and I hope they fix it.. | |
