For those who don't know who Jor-El... he's superman's biological father... ha ha... I was talking to my friends about this and we figured that his dad must have been in his late teens, early 20's when he saw the movie... and decided to name his first son Jor-El... probably hoping that he in turn would name his first son Kal-El (superman)... ha ha...

Posted: 11/28/2007 6:56:58 PM | My brother once had a client and when her rent was overdue her father arrived in my brothers office to pay it " I'm here about the rent for annette kurtin" which as you can imagine had the predictable effect, my brother was totally professional and asked him to wait a moment while he popped into the back office to nearly wet his pants! On another occasion we had a dr Wanker checking into a hotel I worked in, the Australian girl on reception was looking at the list on the computer for the name as pronounced in German "Vanker" When she finally worked out that they were one and the same, she very calmly asked in a beautifully annunciated manner if DR WANKER would like to sign his registration card!
