Posted: 9/7/2004 11:25:48 PM | | I don't think that love is a curse in and of itself. When you love the wrong person, yes, that can be a curse. When you know deep down that it's just not right, but you can't keep away because you want to be with them anyway, yeah, that's a curse. | |

It can be controlled, overwhelmed, switched, changed, whatever depending on what you are doing. You can love someone and at the same time wish them the most awful evils on earth...how many guys say "I still love her..." then we see 'em on the 6 o'clock news with the double murder-suicide story? Just handle "love" as best you can, and when it doesn't work....walk away....

I feel like people change with age, everyone does, and if ur happy with ur mate today, if they dont change with u, or accept the change in u, ur probably not gonna be happy with them in 10 years. Every year that us humans grow older, no matter what ur age, u look at life a little different. I am 35 and have seen this happen with me and alot of people that I know. There r a few exceptions. It may stop when i get real old I dont know. Also there is a fine line between love and hate. In a snap u can hate the person u love. Funny how that works. | |

I also know that my tastes in women (and life in general) have changed drastically over the years. And that's due largely to my experiences in past relationships and learning that what I thought I wanted didn't do it for me like I thought it would. | |
