WHY: Because i said so DAMMIT!
WHAT: Um COFFEE, chai tea, mocha, discussions, but more importantly DESSERTS!!

They have coffee +++ and desserts but no dinner items (so eat first and meet here for coffee, dessert and lively discussions.

Sure hope this will be a go for you.
It is the night before our first dinner club event and it might be fun to invite a friend for coffee to see if he/she is interested in other events. 
I plan to attend and will do my best to invite new  .

I attended 2 of these in the past but there were no women my age and I felt out of place but I will give it one more try and see how it goes.
then start using the event as a way to break the ice with some nice local ladies and make a few invitations.
or... start an event yourself that WILL invite the younger women. | |

Posted: 12/13/2007 6:17:13 PM | i used to host the coffee night thing.....if your looking for more people in your age group you can randomly send out invites to other women in your age range that live in your area...sometimes the host will also send out mail to try to increase and vary attendance so that the event can grow over time.....i think we were upwards of 20 people when i stopped hosting
....i wish i could come to coffee night......but i have my kids on friday
on a separate topic........whats going on on the island for new years....last year we had the coast bastion.....anyone plan anything this year???? | |

so.... who ever gets there first, grab and aggressively defend our favorite table at the far end.
