I'm not sure what you would gain from doing this. If it is for sensitivity reasons, once nerve endings die they tend not to come back. If it's for cosmectic reasons, again, not sure what you'd gain from it. Not only would you be subjecting yourself to a possibly painful (if not at least quite uncomfortable) recovery, it's highly doubtful you'd experience any major difference at all. If you were asking my opinion, I'd advise against it. That said, it's your body, your choice, and best of luck in whatever you decide to do.  | |

Making a scarred area to make another scarred area with no clinical/medical benefits.

Keep it off, a study was done in Africa the men without it had less HIV than the men that still had the foreskin. It can always harbor bacteria, if not take care of. | |

Ever hear of word smegma, its a nasty thing that lirks under the skin of a uncircumsised penis. Especially if the guy doesn't wash it once a day. The circumcised penis is beautiful with nothing to hide I bet if you took a poll with women. They would prefer a circumsised penis over a uncircumcised one 5-1. Besides unless you are 40 or over. Most men now a days are circumcised. It is the older gentlemen that have the uncircumcised penis.  | |

I'm still in the process of trying to restore, it's been over three years now since I first knew of the idea of restoring foreskin. I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you are the type to follow through on projects, not easily discouraged, etc.
I feel it wasn't in my parents' rights to decide to have my foreskin surgically removed. It wasn't damaged tissue, it didn't pose a health risk to me at birth. So all it amounts to is cosmetic surgery, which my parents had no right to force on me. It's my body, so I should be able to decide how I want it to look, altered or left alone -the decision is mine.
As to those of who say that there is no point in attempting this because the nerves are already destroyed, I disagree. I don't expect any significant change in sexual response from doing this, but I want to correct a wrong that my parents made. Cosmetically it will closely resemble the real thing, and that is all I expect to have. | |
