| Which years MLB Baseball team do you find the greatest of all time.. Posted: 12/5/2007 5:35:21 PM | In your opinion, what years baseball team(s) is the greatest of all time. So for example the 1993 Toronto Blue Jays, The 1997 Florida Marlines etc
Also as a futher note, lets make a difference between regular reason and post season also, because as we see time and time again, how a team plays in the regular season may be different.
So lets make this question like this, out of ALL the regular seasons on the one hand and all the post seasons on the other, which would you say is the best team overall in history.
So here is an example, someone may say the regular season 2001 Seattle Mariners, or another may say the Post season 2005 Chicago White Sox etc.
I think this can be a provocative subject and debate. I hope you can understand what I am saying here, lets see the regular and the post-season as seperate within the entire season itself, BUT at the same time considering/including them in the overall assessment of which team (s) you feel is/are the best of all time(could be more then one team also, maybe your top 10 or 20 if you'd like).
I think for the baseball fans, this should be interesting and I hope we can have a great discussion on this.

Posted: 12/5/2007 10:36:17 PM | | it's hard to pick one team but as far as 7 game series goes the 1991 world series.who could forget Kirby P uckett's game winner in gm 6 and Jack morris 10 innings in gm7.there have been some great teams though.the Oakland teams of 88,89,90 should have one more than one series.80 phillies the 76 redsthe 81 dodgers with fernando's rookie year just to name a few

The Baltimore Orioles would be a close second from 1969 but they blew the World Series to the Mets.
3rd Place for me would be ... The Reds from... was it 1976?
Was it 1968 when the Cardinals couldn't be hit by anybody and they lowered the mound because of it?
Indiand had a great team in the late 40's with guys like Feller, Boudreau, Doby, Cihocki...
Number one should have been the mid 80's Mets but they were quite the fat cat underachievers. 1986 was the Buckner game?
