Just wondering why girls from Europe are considered as very good sexe partner? Each country has its "reputation". In general that doesn't mean anything. But all the guys I met on pof really though there were differences between a french girl and a canadian one. I find that so strange. Are there people thinking like me or is the problem from me? | |

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking though, the topic says that they're just "more hot", but in your post you say "very good sexe partner".
Which is it you were asking?
Are european women physically more attractive than Canadian women? not really.
Are european women better lovers than Canadian women? In most cases, yes. Sorry to say but it's largely due to a difference in culture. We are raised much more conservatively over here in North America than they are in Europe.
Please please please don't take me out of context or try to flame me by saying "how the hell would you know the difference???", I'm speaking from my personal experiences (and yes I've been with a number of European women). I used to work on a couple of the major cruise lines out there (Carnival, Princess) and they're stocked full of young and beautiful European women working on them, and since half the guys on the ship were gay it was comparable to an all you can eat buffet  | |

Posted: 12/10/2007 5:43:37 PM | For most part it is curiosity with the unfamiliar. A different culture draws attention, shall we say foreign people appear more exotic.
The North American "love affair" with French in particular dates back to the days of the old wild west when women were glorified because there were few and they were not frowned upon as much due to their past or origins, at least by the"tough guys". Obviously the French culture that remained in the south (New Orleans) was stereotyped as more frivolous sexually in comparison to the more puritan British. This image survived the first and second world wars and was perhaps even strengthened by returning soldiers.
French culture certainly has its charm as do the men and women, but while they mat be typically French they they are no different than Spanish, Italian, Greek, Scandinavian, Polish , South American, Asian.....cultures, each with their own charm. That is if one wishes to see it.
Having lived in Europe, Asia and Canada I find the only difference if any that many Canadians are searching for a national identity and perhaps some are trying too hard. Perhaps that way European people appear more self assured and decisive.
I think sex and relationship are fare too individual and complex to search for a "reputation" of a country or ethnic group. I am sure any person who seeks to experience every culture available will sooner or later decide it was the person they were with and the culture or race place secondary.
OP with your origins in France I am sure you will find many men complementing and expressing their desire simply out of curiosity. It isn't really your problem but rather theirs, n'est-ce pas ?

First of all I never wanted to say that canadian girls were less attractive. I'm just talking about sexe, not about seduction or physical appearance.

Your historical point of view learned me some things. Of course curiosity is a good thing. But that must not just be "sexual curiosity". You can be attracted by someone's sexe appeal but for me fellings are very important in a relationship too. On the other hand i'm in north Alberta now. So maybe people are a little more rough than in others areas of Canada...lol

Nude beaches, a deep love for the good things in life- like food, like R&R time, like family and friends... they are a mixed culture that has a deeper, more quality understanding of what 'hedonism' means, than do North Americans (Canadians or Americans).

that said, canadian babes are hot! still, i am really disappointed by the 'Oh Canada' poster from the 1980s they used to sell in record stores showing a plain-looking blonde in a red swimsuit with a maple leaf on it. there were tons of women in my neighbourhood alone that were hotter than she was. it was as if they just picked the photographer's sister or something. | |

I am one of those "noisy downstairs neighbors"[we spell differently as well] and I promise to help any Canadian who wants to upgrade the sexuality in their culture.

specific people are hot, not an entire continent of people are hot...
that's where the advertising comes in, and no one advertises herself more than usa. so, even with all the dead fish there, you'll never hear about that. you hear only about the pretty ones.
plenty of hot babes in canada, but canada simply doesn't advertise herself as a hot spot for hot tots. | |

I will not say it is the truth....it is way too generalizing to me. But it is true that sex and sexual education is approached in an open way in Holland, for example. The Dutch government has always accepted the fact that education was better than denial, and the subject has been tackled in schools since the 1970s. And the kids in school are not been told that sex is a good/bad thing....the aim is to give students the skills to take their own decisions regarding health, and in particular sexuality.
