People say guys love curves but do they really? In a society where slim is favoured in the media how do you all feel about the female shape? I personally think slim is good(think keira knigthly) and also the curvy Marayln Monroe shape too....
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 2:28:24 PM | Both are great! But of course there are the extremes... too thin, and too curvy, which are also called annorexic and obese
I'm a big fan of curves on a woman, always have been. I love that hourglass figure (notice I'm not giving measurements or anything... it's the figure, not the size). When a woman has nicely shaped hips and a nice round ass (no flat eighties style asses for me!) my tongue hits the floor, my jaw is soon to follow if she's got a nice chest to go with
Don't pay attention to what you see in the media... I know I'm not alone when I say that 80% of so called "super models" are actually ugly. Most are way too thin, have funny looking faces, and snort coke like it's going out of style...
One of the women who I think has the most amazing bodies on this planet is Tyra Banks. To each his own though

| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 2:30:06 PM | marilyn monroe was curvy?
i didn't know that | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 2:30:38 PM | 'anna' . . You're both Curvy AND Slim . . Which makes you 'Dilectable' . . !!! Most women that select 'Curvy' have a Dozen Too Many of them . . !! ***** . . My Admirations!! . . | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 2:38:47 PM | Slim can be good, but people like Keira Knightly are in desperate need of a burger.
Food is an important pleasure in life, and most men would not want to date a woman who only eats salads.
Men want a lady who will have a few slices of pizza,or dip into the chocolate cake.lol
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 3:06:09 PM | i almost read the title as "curry vs slim" (jim).
don't believe a thing from the media about preferences. everybody knows that models are unnatrually and unhealthily built, and men are usually close to unanimous in saying they're too thin. depending on the culture you're from, you'll like curvy or chunky, but bony is pretty much ruled out. anyone who tells you that men like scrawny women is likely a female editor for teeny bopper magazine like "people" or "cosmopolitan."
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 3:09:52 PM | | I love most shapes, curvy or slim doesn't matter. | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 3:11:22 PM | I love a larger woman most of the time, if only because, when I wrap my arms around her, I want to know there's actually someone there!
Plus, it seems pretty common that curves lead to more fat on the outer body, which means a softer body (in other words, yet more lusciousness). Not only that, but curves include breasts, butt, and most other wonderful body parts as well, right? If so, then why are we even arguing?
Skinny women also worry me. I'm a pretty heavy guy, and I have to wonder if I won't practically break the poor girl's back if I try to do anything... I'm not the arm-candy sort: I like substance in more than just her personality!
And yes, I am honestly like that, and why not? Seems like all the things a guy wants are right there in one package, right? So why let such a precious body be considered ugly for the very reasons it is so desirable.
Or as a character in Pulp Fiction put it:
"That which is pleasing to the touch is rarely pleasing to the eye at the same time..."

| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 3:21:17 PM | different men prefer different body types. everybody is different. i have my own preferances as well, but would gladly turn down a b1tch that has my ideal body type for an intelligent, loving woman with many flaws. i suspect most of both genders would do that. | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 3:22:17 PM | thin...I think of "Twiggy" and "Paris Hilton"
curvy...I think of "Marylin Munroe" and "Demi Moore".
when you are a man, and on top, there is nothing worse than hip bones that stick into you....they hurt after a while. I like a bit of meat on them there bones!
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 3:42:16 PM | | CURVES ...CURVES...CURVES!!......curvy wins hands down....a woman needs curves to have a womanly shape....skinny girls look like 9 year old boys with t its....they have shapeless legs...no a ss....you can see their ribs and they age terribly. | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 3:58:48 PM | Given that the obese have misappropriated the term "curvy" for the self-delusional purposes of raising their self-esteem, any thin woman with breasts and a nice waist and nice legs is now left with one less adjective to use.
Sorry ladies, but since the obese have latched onto this term and refuse to accept that an obese bell curve isn't what the term "curvy" ever has connotated, they've won.
They've won because now, and I am willing to bet that I'm not alone here--we men have become resigned to the reality that almost without exception; anytime I see "curvy", I automatically think "FAT" because so many of the self-delusional chubbies out there are masquerading under the monniker....
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news here.......
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 4:21:31 PM | | a few extra rather than a few to little, but if you have a big heart,i really dont care. | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 4:22:43 PM | | I can go with slim but not skeletal. I am not into anorexic women who rattle when they cum. There is a such thing as too skinny. Personally, I like women on the curvier side but not into the very obese or "SSBBW". | |

This is one that I really hate to admit to be true.
What bothers me is that the girls who are doing this obviously aren't fooling anyone even if they don't have a picture... what happens when you meet the person you've been talking to for a few weeks? I think that there are some out there who do this hoping to attract a man by personality alone and that they will just accept them when they eventually meet. They really do a disservice to the truly sexy curvy women out there, not only to them but to themselves and the guys they are trying to deceive.
I really think they need to provide some spoof-ish descriptions of what these body types actually mean
For example: Thin: Broom handle Athletic: mmmmm beach volleyball anyone? Average: DUH! Curvy: m-m-m-m-m-m-Marilyn! A Few Extra Pounds: that's a few, not a few dozen BBW: Large and in charge, loving life!
I really don't want to piss any ladies off with this but it's totally true, all you need to do is a search for women in your own area and you'll see it, everywhere.
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 4:56:21 PM | As a BBW: Large and in charge, loving life! I slighty agree. Some women do use curvy as a nice way to say fat. But I have no problem with the word. I think we should be clear so we can find someone who is truely attracted to our body type. Why waste yours and someone elses time trying to convince them that they are missing out on a fantastic fat girl. I don't have time for all that. I find lots of nice people looking for somene just like me. "Someone once told me 'Only sick and twisted men like fat women.' Well, I like my men sick and twisted!" So like what you like and be what you are. | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 4:58:40 PM | This debate is NEVER going to end.
I like tall, strong men, and short, chubby/fat women. *shrug*
The next person will like skinny men and slender women.
Who cares? We're never going to suss it out.
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 5:04:04 PM | | I sure love the responses of you men. Thank GOD I am curvy!!!! | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 5:31:04 PM | | Aaaah, variety is the spice of life! Curvy, slim, short, tall, I just love women. They don't necessarily love me, but that's another story. I try to live by the saying, "if I can't lift them, I can't love them." But on the other hand, I'm a pretty strong guy! | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 5:33:53 PM | | I used to really like smaller girls like size 00-2 but at about 26 or so I started getting more attracted to size 4-6 but that is my limit currently. Who knows what i'll like in ten more years. | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 5:36:22 PM | both are good really has to do with how they carry it.. personally I prefer a bit of curve over the rake thin look but I have dated skinny and chunky and been turned on by all of the above... but Paris Hilton... not my style thanks anyways | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 5:37:23 PM | When U say slim first thing that comes to my mind is skin & bones... Ewwwwwwwww: Curvy
| |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 5:45:18 PM | Give me a Marilyn Monroe or even better, a Mae West anytime, any where.
"You may admire a girl's curves on the first introduction... but the second meeting shows up new angles." Mae West
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 5:47:37 PM | | I personally like the kiera knightley and angelina jolie physique best. Skinny but fit. Curvy does look nice on the right women too but I've never seen someone who can't pull off 'skinny'. | |
|
| Curvy Vs Slim Posted: 12/11/2007 5:48:14 PM | I'm a sailor, *smirk* I like em curvy and short. *smile, then again a tall slender gal with long legs is incredible, just an average girl will do. *lol* I like em all! everyone has their certain qualities talent and shortcomings. | |
