| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 9:24:00 PM | | Hey, I've seen and heard of many guys becoming jealous in relationships. Obviously girls are not immune to jealousy either, but what makes a girl jealous? It seems that sometimes I notice girls get jealous over things that I would consider small or insignificant. Then again, maybe guys and girls differ in what makes them jealous. Have you ever gotten jealous before? If so, what was it that made you jealous and why? | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 9:27:46 PM | | I had an Ex that told me who he thought was attractive. He also told me that he had a crush on one of the girls. I think I had reason to be jealous. There was a guy who flirted with girls all the time and I never got jealous because he was shot down left and right and I kind of felt bad for him. | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 9:39:31 PM | | I've even noticed that when a guy who pursued a girl in the past suddenly starts to like or talk about another girl, the first girl gets jealous even if she didn't like the guy in the first place. Is this common? Can anyone relate? | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 9:42:25 PM | | Okay... I am guilty of having no interest for a guy and then getting jealous when he liked another girl. Then after I thought about it for a little while it made me feel not so good because he couldn't have liked me so much if he could just quickly change his mind like that. Also... he probably didn't have high expectations. | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 9:50:47 PM | | Well... I think everyone likes to consider themselves unique. If a guy likes me, I like to think its because I have something other girls don't. If he can just go find another girl so quickly it makes me think that maybe he's not looking for anything unique. Also... I think I might have been a slightly better catch. | |

If you tell your girlfriend another girl looks hot, she'll probably think 'then date her instead of me and stop comparing'. This isn't all girls of course, but it's definitely me. I don't get really jealous but I have been cheated on several times and I don't put up with that kind of crap anymore.

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 10:03:44 PM | | Well, just from looking at your profile you do seem to have quite a few things going on for you that other girls don't have. Not only do you seem intelligent with a good personality (which can be hard to find in many people I meet), you also seem to be very normal and someone who many guys would probably approach as a first choice. He probably approached the other girl because he thought he didn't have a chance. It happens alot, and many times guys don't even try to approach attractive girls because they just figure, "what's the point". Of course if a girl gives the guy a smile or some kind of signal, he interprets this as a "green light" and is more confident to start a conversation. | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 10:07:18 PM | | Okay... this was a forum you posted and it became all about me. My appologies. I would like to hear the story behind why you posted this topic. What girl did you make Jealous of another woman? What did you say or do? | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 10:20:21 PM | | We weren't even dating, but we were talking and she seemed to like me a bit. Well one time she saw a friend of mine post a comment on m.y.s.p.a.c.e, and she was like "who was that girl who posted on your profile?" I asked which one, and when she described her, she used words like "fat" to make her sound totally unattractive. She said it in kind of a crude way. I figured this was because maybe there was some jealousy, but who knows. | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 10:23:23 PM | | Yeah... people say some mean things out of jealousy. I wouldn't let it bother you. I don't think I'd continue dating someone who got jealous before you were even going out. Jealousy is an insecurity... not attractive. | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 10:34:42 PM | | There was also a time in high school when a girl who I had liked for a long time did not have ANY interest in me AT ALL and probably viewed me as kind of a nerd. Then all of a sudden when I started talking to other girls she started talking to me more and trying to get my attention. Even though this was about 5 or 6 years ago, I saw similar situations with other girls and guys. This is different than the other story I told because these girls did not like the guy in the first place. | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 10:42:00 PM | | Actually no, it kind of was the same...however, I think they just had different ways of showing it than people in high school. | |
|
| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 10:45:38 PM | | I've noticed that a lot of people try to hide the jealousy. Whereas in highschool everything was dramatic and extra emotional. What do you do when you get jealous? | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 10:54:01 PM | Me? Jealous? Ha!
LOL, If I start to feel any jealous feelings coming on I decide to just let things be, rather than try to fix them myself, since I have seen in past situations that some guys tend to mess things up even more.

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 10:58:24 PM | | Another thing that might make women mad... if they are dating someone who NEVER gets jealous... haha.... | |
|
| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 11:02:10 PM | | LOL! Or if a guy talks to another female who is totally despised by the girl | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 11:08:31 PM | | Yeah, jealousy can destroy you. Just don't show it. Any funny jealousy stories? | |
|
| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 11:12:44 PM | | It's a little funny that I've been jealous of a guy before. They seemed a little TOO close. It really worried me. | |

| Girls getting jealous... Posted: 12/12/2007 11:17:47 PM | | Jealously is one of the 7 sins. All of the sins come from a place of fear. In this case it's fear of losing the one you love to another. Fear of not being good enough, or better than. Fear of losing is the key though. | |
