| | My one photo has "McAfee"Page 1 of 1 | I just uploaded a new picture of me. It shows up in the small view, but to click it on or make it the main photo the photo has McAfee on it.
What do I do? I would like this photo to be the main one. | |

Not sure what you're saying about a photo having McAfee on it.

| My one photo has McAfee Posted: 12/16/2007 5:46:18 PM | Okay, the one photo, the small icon size is okay, but if I click it to make it the main picture, I get a white background withe the word McAfee written. McAfee is my antivirus, but both pictures were done the same way in scanning and uploading. I am talking about the photo where I have my hand on the side of my face.
I am at a loss as to how to correct this.
Thanks | |

Could it just be my computer? It is new, Compaq Prosario, with Windows Home VistaPremium
Thanks. | |

| My one photo has McAfee Posted: 12/16/2007 5:53:18 PM | First of all - go back to post 3 for the instructions as to how to make one of your other images the main image.
What I suspect you're doing or experiencing while looking at profiles and rolling your mouse over them is your antivirus program, probably the pop up blocker portion of McAfee, blocking the pop ups ...
Check with the help section of your McAfee antivirus on how to disable this, if you wish.
Just a strong hunch
If anyone else is running McAfee, perhaps a word of help for the OP

 | Sounds like you have the McAfee Internet Security Suite Firewall Portion blocking Plentyoffish Images. |
Check your Firewall that pics.plentyofsite.com/ is not blocked, or set it to allow pics.plentyofsite.com/
Your Suite may also have integrated with your Browser and added more Options such as restricting larger Images from displaying to increase your Internet Surfing Speed.
Further, you have Spyware running under Internet Explorer 7.x, a Possibility that your Browser has also been hijacked:
And if that does not resolve your Problems, its Time to give a real, Non-Malware infested Browser a shot:
---> Browsers: Firefox Browser with Instant Messenger |

| My one photo has McAfee Posted: 12/16/2007 6:59:22 PM | I followed your advice and tickettoride's and (I forget everything I did, but it worked!)
I went through McAfee and my Internet Options and Intranet Options, cleared browing history, temporary files, etc. added plentyoffish to my allowed sites, lowered some of my security, just followed what both of you told me, and now I am fine - made sure pictures were allowed.
I also went into Parental Controls and clicked on allow all images. Mine said that some pictures might be considered inappropriate, (McAffee, that is) so to click to "allow pictures."
Thanks!
I think everyone should follow both of your instructions if they have any problem like mine.
Thanks again! | |
