Where: Bolorama Lanes (Rosemont Shopping Centre)
When: Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 9 to 11 pm
Who: Everyone who enjoys mixing and mingling with other folks in an active and social environment. Talent for bowling is not necessary -- social interaction is !
Cost: Shoe rental and lane cost included in the $20 per hour per lane charge payable to the Alley owner/manager.

Goal: To have as much fun as possible while bowling/dancing/mingling with fellow  .
Teams of four will be randomly selected and rotated upon completion of each game (10 frames), so that people get the opportunity to mix 'n mingle with as many as possible. If folks have preferences, we will try to accommodate those as well.
After bowling, we can relocate to the Juliana Pizza restaurant for refreshment and munchies  , if that's what everyone wishes to do. If enough people respond that they would like to do that (ie. 10 or more), I will make arrangements to have tables reserved for us.
We'll have the  of the place for those two hours to bowl as many games as we can squeeze in. This establishment runs a 'neon' bowling setup from 9 pm, and plays some pretty great music. They also have refreshments (leaded and non-leaded) available. I'm not sure if that helps the game any, but it sure makes for some interesting ball deliveries ~ 
Don't be shy, and don't worry if you can't bowl well (or at all). Really, we don't anticipate the possibility of competing for Bowling Olympics any time soon. We do hope people will come out during what can sometimes be a very long winter, and mix 'n mingle with other singles.

I can attest to the fact that Irish Angel sure does seem to spend alot of time cleaning out the gutters with her bowling balls -- but then so did most of us !!
It certainly will be a fun evening. And for those that might have bowling balls go astray, *not naming names but her initials are s-p-u-n-k-y-k-i-s-s-e-r* I have first aid training ! ~wink~

Oh, just a thought for those that like wearing white. As it is a 'neon' bowling event, you might want to make sure that anything you're wearing that will be reflected by the black lights, isn't something that you wouldn't ordinarily want folks to know yer wearing.   | |

14 to date is a great start. We still have a ways to go to fill the bowling lanes, so don't be shy click on your button. If you need a ride; or, have a little anxiety about coming alone, feel free to contact myself and I'll see what I can do to be of assistance.
Lonerider, you rock girl! Just stay off those chairs they are not made for dancing By the way, I have these really neat  socks that I will be wearing, should take the focus off me while I'm gutter bowling

Posted: 12/28/2007 8:56:10 AM | hi everybody bowling that really sound's great i haven't bowled in a league for a couple of yr's now and it sound's great and i would really love to come but i'm leaveing for mexico that weekend for two week's i sure hope you do it again when i come back will be looking forward to it and the kareoke part too going to start the new yr off right this yr for sure ha ha . by looking for my soulmate that i can do thing's together with like traveling alot when i come back from mexico planning a trip right away for 2009 to graceland can't wait for that do a little singing down there ha ha . so looking forward to alot more bowling and kareokaeing . happy new year to you all and the best in 2008 from me littleking1951. party on  | |
