Posted: 12/27/2007 3:36:01 PM | Another serious move is taking place in the Celestial family with Pluto (death/drama) entering the constellation of Capricorn (politics/structuring power) for the first time since 1777 (the majority of the Revolutionary War took place during this time).
On Friday, January 25, 2008 until 2024 Pluto passage in Capricorn promises to bring about incredible changes to the world at large.
Some would argue, however, that Pluto was really only of significance as it was believed to be a planet (at least when I grew up). These days it's not a planet or even a star, it's just a piece of rock... So, what does this change in status do to this celestial omen?

I have soo many theories.. but they are just that.. theories.. can't wait to see it all play out though ;)
It is interesting to note where these planets touch upon your own natal horoscope as well... for instance my natal Jupiter is in capricorn and is the most elevated planet in my chart... conjunct my midheaven... intriguing times indeed! | |

Saturn and Uranus symbolizes the capacity to make one's ideas come to fruition.
Saturn and Neptune symbolizes the creation of a logical spiritual tradition.
Saturn and Pluto symbolizes the calming of the storm that has rattled the world over the last few decades.
Uranus and Neptune symbolizes the spiritual unrest soon to take hold of the Earth.
Uranus and Pluto symbolizes the potential for idealistic war.
Neptune and Pluto symbolize the imminent spiritual healing of the Earth.
In other words, we can expect a very tumultuous few decades, and the end of it will *hopefully* result in a very positive time for humanity, though it may end up being a terrible time.

Part of scripture relates to this :-
(Rev 11:2 KJV) But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
As part of the tribulation that some have read in the bible as a seven year treaty that is broken then all "hell" breaks loose.

I suspect you mean Astrology. A large number of people (including myself) are supporters of astronomy. :D

It's not the end of the world. EVERY world order is a New World Order. Nobody alive today is all that special or different than any other person ever born. Perhaps if people began to realize how similar we all are, there would be no need for all this nonsensical eschatology*.

Actually, it's much worse.
Why bother researching technology that could, say, cure cancer or eliminate dependency on oil if the world is going to end in 7 years? Why bother going to college? Or going to school at all? Why worry about teaching your kids about credit ratings, insurance, or birth control? If the world is going to end and everyone who doesn't believe X-Y-Z is damned, why bother trying to make the world a better place? Why fight hunger and poverty?
Uranus doesn't emit photons. And if it did, since photons are "units" of light (actually of EM radiation) there is a wide possibility for the after-effects of their trajectories.
The difference is this: cosmic extinction events, like Gamma Ray Bursts or the Sun going nova, are going to happen anyway, and there's next to nothing people can do about it. Changing religions isn't going to stop a Pulsar from frying us. But religious eschatologies are dangerous, in that they absolve Sect XYZ from any humane responsibility. It would be nice if eschatology dictated "The world is gonna end, so let's stop killing each other, k?" But they don't. Exclusion and conversion is the order of the day.
Until humanity as a whole can learn to do the right thing simply because it's the right thing, any philosophy that would suggest a permanent end- with a happy ending for a specific group- is damaging.
Don't believe me? Look it up. There have been countless religiously-themed End-of-the-World doomsayers throughout history, whipping people into a frenzy. Has it done any good? Or are people still so busy nit-picking over what name to call God that they end up killing each other, or telling other people to kill each other?
There have been a select few technologically-based End-of-the-World scares. Has any good come of it? There's not a Cold War anymore, thanks in part to disarmament and Mutually Assured Destruction. Y2K was little more than a noisy party, and the question of whether or not it could have been a nightmare will never be known, thanks to the enormous amount of work put into making established IT systems, and new IT products, "Y2K Compliant".
I'd still take a Gamma Ray Burst or Entropic Compression over elitist eschatology any day. A meteor isn't going to care if you were Hindu, Christian, or Pastafarian. So there'd be little use in touting one over the other. | |

as far as the NEW WORLD ORDER... well, if GW puts a 7 year peace treaty into effect in Isreal then I'm gonna have egg on my face cause I like the man... but I did meet this wierd astrologer back in the 80's who told me reagan wasn't the beast... look to bush... but then of course he meant the first Bush... in fact I ought to go see that guy since he lives in Los Angeles and cuts hair in one of the most interesting barbershops you'll ever walk into...
