| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/27/2007 6:05:52 PM | | "My friend" went home for Christmas and had a "one-nighter". Now, this friend says, that the guy was whispering over & over that she was the "best ___". She says why would he lie, he already had what he wanted? Is this a statement that men make flippantly or he really thought she was the best? | |

| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/27/2007 6:38:35 PM | | Best is relative. Like setting a record or personal best. It's not a constant. Currently I'd agree, why lie? | |
|
| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/27/2007 10:46:55 PM | Better question, if it was a true "one niter" then why bother telling the girl she was the best?
A rule of thumb, if you have to ask, it was probably a lie.
"If I say she was the best, maybe she'll do me again in the morning"

| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/27/2007 10:49:13 PM | | I'd have to wonder why it matters to her. Lie...truth...who cares? I guess I just don't see the relevance unless she's going to enter some competition somewhere or something...just don't really see the point of this thread. | |

| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/27/2007 10:58:45 PM | Why would someone lie about such a thing.... ??? I certainly hope that he did have a great night... there are great lovers out there... just cause we haven't met them yet doesn't mean they don't exist...
Good for him... | |

| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/27/2007 11:35:57 PM | No disrespect Lotus Flower, but she was having a one night stand with what was evidently a random stranger...why would that have been good to hear. Hey baby of the three thousand women I've shagged, you're the best. Let me get your photo for my wall of fame....sorry, but I still just don't get the point of this. A one night stand is supposed to pass in to the realm of incidents with no consequences--why should this be important?
Ok...I'm just confounded on this one. I'm going to leave this thread and probably not return....

She was having sex with someone she was into so, of course it would be good to hear

| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/28/2007 4:05:21 AM | Who knows ? Pick one of the reasons below.. Pick two or three. There is NO RULE BOOK FOR GUYS! We don’t all say the same things when in similar situations. Anyone who answers this is just guessing, so pick whatever reason makes you feel better. There are only four or five million other possible explanations, but perhaps one of these will fit.
1) If i whisper sweet nothing into her ear, i might make it better for her 2) If it is better for her, she might take the chance and “give her all”, which makes it better for ME! 3) The last/ last few/only woman i was with seemed to like it when i said that, so I’ve been saying it ever since. 4) If i am nice to her, she may not scream when i toss her out 5) The second best i ever had was HORRIBLE! 6) I was told in my support group that this was better than saying “ Take it B!tch! “ which was my usual line 7) It was a one night stand. I was imagining it was _______. She WAS the best. 8) The hooker i hired last week said it to me. 9) I would like to have another chance on another night. Being nice couldn’t hurt my odds. 10) I like things rough. After telling her she is The Best, right before i cum, i am going to tell her she will never be as good as her sister, who i screwed last night. Then i will grab her hair and ride her like an unbroken horse. ( Old Joke, yes ?) 11) I have short term memory problems. I do not remember the other women. 12) Each and every time i have sex, it seems to be the best .....at the time. 13 ) WOW! This IS the best !

| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/28/2007 5:36:58 AM | Maybe he told her that so she would reduce her fee!
OR
She could have been his first!! So she would also be the worst, the best, etc etc.
Was he telling the truth??? He is the only one that knows that!

| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/28/2007 6:05:11 AM | Ahh pillow talk isn't it wonderful leaves so much to the imagination. Makes me wonder "best _____" at what. In any event let your friend enjoy her after glow....
Ahhyup, thats what I think

| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/28/2007 6:48:44 AM | Men all say this rubbish while in the throes on a one nighter
I bet you a pound to a penny he didnt lay there and cuddle her after ... and that he had it on his toes asap
|
| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/28/2007 8:00:03 AM | u just lost a pound, baby gurl, he did cuddle. She had to wait till he was sound asleep, slip out of bed, dress quietly, and vanish...She never stays till daylight. NO NEVER!!! | |
|
| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/28/2007 8:05:08 AM | | The best in the moment is usually more like it. Not everyones best is another persons best as well!! It's all relative and really not significant to anyone except the people in the moment! | |
|
| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/28/2007 9:20:26 AM | | Why does she care? It was a one night stand! "The best he ever had"??? how many would that be.... she might have only been his second encounter. Is she trying to stroke her own ego here? | |
|
| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/28/2007 10:57:47 AM | | Why lie? Saying that and not meaning it is like faking an orgasm...I wont give somebody credit for something they didn't do! | |
|
| Was he telling the truth Posted: 12/28/2007 11:09:23 AM | Do women lie about their age? Yes, no.
Do men lie about how many women they have slept with? Yes, no.
Do women lie about their weight? Yes, well, yes.
Do men lie about her being the best? Yes, no.
