Ipod stereo transmitter?
Posted: 12/27/2007 8:26:59 PM
Well, I was good this year because Santa got me a iPod Nano!

However, I haven't been impressed with the docking stations I have seen with the portable speakers so I was thinking of hooking up my ipod with a transmitter to my stereo.

Any recommendations on what to buy? I'd rather not break the bank if possible...

If your stereo has a line in, you can just use a 3.5mm cable from the headphone jack on your iPod to that. Otherwise, you'll have to get a little more fancy and get something along the lines of an RF transmitter that you can dock your iPod in and then just tune your stereo to the frequency you are transmitting at. The one I bought awhile ago only broadcasts in mono, so you might want to make sure what you are getting will perform to your standards. But your best bet would be the direct connection through your line in.
