Cost: No admission charge
Directions: Direcions, phone number and e-mail of the winery are on their website.
I wrote to the manager there and this event is open to the public free of charge and I believe this would be a great way for fellow POF members too meet in a casual environment. The winery is located in central NJ Just off of exit #7 of the NJ Turnpike. I suggest having something that would clearly identify you as a POF member so not as to cause embarassment to others.

First off, I hope everyone has a happy and prosperous New Year.
As to this event, I thought it was something that would have broad appeal to a wide range of people at a convenient time and still fall within the guidelines. A few things like how to ID one another, photos...etc still need to be worked out, but the big picture seems to be in place. The place has a website but it was not updated to reflect the upcoming year. But I spoke to the manager and she confirmed that they still have it this (2008) year.
Thanks kaetymae for saying you stopped by there, I've been a a few of the wineries in NJ but not this particular one.
Not much more to say at this time except if you have particulars as to suggestions or ideas this seems to be the place to do it. I'll try to keep things as simple and casual possible and with your help we should have a nice go of this.

Its a nice place. Ive been to events there before. Is there a place for us to mingle though? I have been to a blue grass festival and thats outside, under a tent and you buy a glass for ten dollars.
Didnt know if they are having a tent or something for this event. In any event, its a nice place... good wine.
Are we going to be wearing name tags or something?

Hopefully my schedule will allow me to attend, but at this time i see no reason not to be able to go...i do love going to winery's and i love chocolate, especially semi-sweet..yummy!...look forward to meeting all..will be a hoot!...Happy New Year to all.
