to all u who feel "low" about being single i thought i would give u some reasons why its good to be single - of course we all love to have a partner at times - however at other times its really is cool to be single
here are my reasons
1- no worrying why he has not txt u
2- no wondering where he is and who he is with
3- no mind games
4- no worrying about ur dog breath in the morning
5- no having to be nice to their shitty family and friends
6 - being able to slob aroud the house in your pj's and eat choclate
7 - no worrying about is he going to cheat
so get ur glad rags on , get down ur local and make the most of it theres time for all the mind games and being tied down soon enough | |

Do you not miss waking up to that speical someone on Christmas morning. I spent the holdiays alone and that stunk. But after 10 years of the same thing, I am used to it.
At least I did not have to buy Christmas presents and go into debt.
But I would love to be in a relatiohsip.

not really i dont miss a lot of it , perhaps im getting to the happy being single stage , u know some people say it and you think
- you cant be for real , but theres a lot to be said for having no one to answer to , i embrace it

I am single and I do enjoy it at times. and yes at times I wish I had that special someone there, but I would rather be by myself than be with the wrong person because I am scard to be alone. I do know my time will come and I will have that special person, there is someone for everyone. Happy New year. | |

But in the spirit of your thread, I'll add:
-- You don't have to worry about forgetting B-Days and Valentine's.
-- No one to make you feel bad about selfishly buying things you don't need, but want.
-- No waking up in the middle of the night freezing because they stole all of the blanket.
-- No fighting over the remote. | |

Very true. I was in a relationship where one day I sat down and realized how utterly LONELY I felt, and I had been with her for over a year. But emotionally, we were on different pages, and I just felt alone. Being with someone can have a lot of advantages, but unless it's the right person, it's just not worth it. | |

I love men.............................just not interested in being tied to one again. Maybe freedom is just another word for nothing else to lose, nothing ain't worth nothin but it's free, but it's still freedom....................the price for peace and happinss for some of us. | |

You start out with "NO" this & that... Doesn't that sound like you're making with all the negative waves? When I was young and foolish I did all those things, now that I am older and not much wiser, I have broadened my horizons. I have learned that my FREEDOM ended the moment I said "I do" and so on... JUST kidding 
Being in a committed relationship brings a tremendous amount of joy. If children are involved, so much the better. Your world is defined by your friends.  If you're a loner, then what can I say?? I like to travel, but not alone. I like to hold someone during the night. Having a dog, a cat or a goldfish alone, just doesn't do it. Some of us are just made for companionship and joy, regardless if we're single or not. When I was unemployed, I said I was between jobs, now that I'm single, I say that I'm between relationships.  I look forward to a time again when I am with someone, everyday, hopefully for the rest of my days. I strongly believe that our lives are measured by the positive impact that we have on others. We are role models to all those around us, smile ~ for we don't know who is watching and is falling in love with our smile...
