Does every woman like to ride motorcycles and loves sports? Not that there is anything wrong with that but seems that most of the profiles have those phrases in them. Are you just saying those things to get us to look at you or is it a real interest even without a man involved?

I was riding motorcycles long before it was cool for a gal.
but now I'm a bit scared of them. Sports are ok.it's a nice venue for a neutral date.Just ask Jessica Simpson

I think men are far more culturally inhibited than women, so have fewer things they can look at and say, "That's manly. I'm allowed to like that."

No to motorcycles, but YES, YES, YES to football, especially the NFL. Can't wait to see my Cowboys defeat New England at the Super Bowl. (Hmm ... this limb I've gone out on feels a little shaky...)

Just saying those things to get you to look?
Do you have any idea what a bike cost? Don't you think a new dress would have been cheaper and easier?
The funny thing is that having a bike has deterred some guys from pursuing even a friendship with me because they think I am only interested in guys with bikes.

I do agree that alot of women I know, pose interests intriguing to men and I never thought it necessary.

But what gets in my craw, is these fanatic NASCAR babes. They know every driver, his colors, his stats and crap like that and I think to myself...who do ya think you're foolin' ?

It's the redneck mentality of some women, thinkin' that these events bring out all the "good ole boys" from all over the USA.

If I did like motorcycles, sports or NASCAR...you can bet...I'd keep it to m'self.

Now I know some won't like what I said. But it's just how I feel. Some really good female friends of mine are NASCAR fans. But I can't stand to be around 'em during a race when they're tryin' to impress a man with their race car/driver trivia. I just go home bored.

But...if ya wanna talk horses....that's different. Ever'body knows a man who sets well in the saddle is a fine Christian man ! (yeah right). I won't talk Rodeo, but I'll talk horses all day long.

What's not to like about sitting outside in the sunshine next to your sweetie, drinking a beer & eating garlic fries, all while watching the best athletes in the world strut their stuff at Safeco Field? Motorcycles scare me too much although renting a Harley in Hawaii turned out to be a fun experience. I really trusted the driver and there wasn't a lot of other traffic around. It would be pretty dumb to lie about liking motorcycles to get a man since eventually you'll be expected to get on one.

Nope. HATE motorcycles and have a scar on my left knee that gives testament where that hatred comes from.
Sports, however, is a completely different story. And just so we understand each other: Baseball isn't sports.

Well when it gets stuck there, ya know, "in your craw", I hope you find a way to let some of us REAL women enjoy the damn race.

I don't shout NUTHIN' to impress a man... but I know my race and I love my drivers....
And if he gets in the way of the screen while they're turning left, he's gonna be wearing my thigh high boot heel across his sorry ass!

Oh, and I love all other sports except pro-basketball, but the only one I pull out my chewin' tobacco for is NASCAR! /*wink wink

I like having my OWN bike. Don't care about his.

I only like LIVE sports events or playing them myself. Same thing watched on TV would bore me to the point of counting arm hairs... First mine, then his... I'd use ice to make his stand on end, thereby annoying him, distracting him from the game and ending up on a single's dating site talking about how I hate watching sports on TV...

Oh! LOOK! HERE I AM!

buahaha

Actually, I like watching downhill skiing on TV.

Warmer.

I don't need someone in my life that desperately to say something that isn't true. I do like motorcycles, but do not have it in my profile...just learned how fun they can be this past summer.

As for sports...Red Sox, Patriots, and even my losing Notre Dame football team..nothing else. I don't do sports to make men like me...I grew up the only girl, and this was how I spent my time with my father....as well as working on cars.

I don't need to impress a man, I am who I am, take it or leave it.

OP, some of us women really do like motorcycles and all sorts of sports. I think for some it might be a way to let you guys know we are not all just "shoppers". Now, don't take that the wrong way, I love to shop as much as the next gal, but I do have other interests. Hey, you have to have something in common with a person to peak interst at times. It really is a way to let you guys know we like some of the same things you do mostly. Not a put on, hopefully.
Hey, I know my sports and it hasn't hampered me. Actually, the fact that I like football, hockey and NASCAR has helped.
If you are into sports and find a woman that can hold her own in a converstaion about that sport you should feel good.
Don't sweat the small stuff here. Enjoy it.

I've owned my own motorcycle since i was 19 years old and its not even on my profile. Myabe i should remedy that, i ride it all the time and love doing so. It has nothing to do with looking cool or whatever, it's just something that i have always done. Now i'm helping my sons learn how to ride. The only sport i love to watch is Rugby Union and that is as much about the fit male bodies as the game lol....

Well I guess it's easy to see that I'm not trying to impress anyone as I clearty state on my profile that I hate ALL sports.

As far as motorcycles, I can't comment as I have yet to be on one, let alone drive one :(
