| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 1/2/2008 5:42:28 PM | I've done a lot of research on this new MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement) that is available and supposed to be great for destroying all kinds of bacteria, viruses, pathogens, yeasts, etc... in your system. There are various sites available for review (search Miracle Mineral Supplement) and Mr. Humble's books as well....everything sounds great... But, I'd like to know if anyone has tried this stuff and what results you've experienced?
I purchased a bottle on-line but I am now a little aprehensive to start using it :-) ... Thought I'd check here before starting.

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 1/2/2008 6:44:33 PM | Never heard of it but I'd be skeptical of anything that claims to destroys all kinds of bacteria, viruses and pathogens. It's my understanding most of these are kept in check by the body itself. Generally speaking things outside agents that do kill bad ones also kill good ones, like Antibiotics. There is also a lot of talk about colloidal silver for doing similar things.
But having said that I think it is very likely a lot of regular everyday people DO become nutrient deficient and in that regard a supplment is usually not a bad thing. Remember less is more here. If you have any apprehension I'd start at half or one quarter the dose they reccomend.
There is growing proof that the topsoil is deficient and/or the regular farming methods (like injecting anhydroxous ammonia directly into the soil just prior to planting) might have led to vegetables and fruits with less minerals so subsidizing our intake with supplements are not uncommon. There are some rare cases like the selenium deprived soil in a certain region of china that led to a very specific heart defect -- but even mentioning this many of the supplement companies capitalize on something that does not even effect the whole rest of the world! So it can be a slippery slope in both directions.......

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 1/3/2008 6:43:14 AM | you don't want to destroy bacteria, some parts of the body rely on them, like the intestines. your playing with a loaded gun it seems and you may end up hurting yourself to mess with the natural ways.
long ago people used to drink this stuff called "colodial silver" to cure everything... some people turned a funny color and it stayed with them for life. you shouldnt mess with stuff like that.

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 1/4/2008 5:47:23 PM | | It's just calcium clorite sort of like salt but what it does is before it turns into salt ( the residue itleaves behind ) is that it charges the body with alot of oxygen which attacks diseases like an immune system on steroids. It's perfectly safe and has been used to "cure" everything from malaria to removing cancer tumors. And strangely enough I used it to whiten my teeth and it works great for that. | |

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 1/4/2008 8:09:39 PM | | Never heard of it and I'm always up on the latest vit/sup. I'll have to do some research on it like you did. Right now I use Oil of Oregano, Olive Leaf extract and garlic (cloves and kyolic) to kill the bad bugs and these products have been shown to let the "good" bugs live. If you have giardia, candida, mild food poisoning, some parasites, fibromyalgia, etc. you might want to try OoO, highly effective anti-bacterial and anti-fugal, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial. I've used it time after time with nearly 100% success. Some conditions can be cured faster than others. You should try it. Just 5 or 6 drops from the eye-dropper into a glass of water 2x a day for a week can get rid of a lot of the bad bugs. Beat paying a doctor to give you the expensive meds and A-Bs. | |

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 1/4/2008 9:21:31 PM | | Interesting.... a few weeks ago on the local news, I saw a story about a guy in California who used colloidal silver to cure something(They didn't say what, but the guy was apparently cured of whatever it was!). The only downside was that it literally turned him the color BLUE! | |

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 4/5/2008 11:20:18 AM | I was battling a bad liver for the last 10 years and it came to the point of meeting with the Transplant Team at a major hospital in BC. I had been a test subject for 10 years with little results other than side effects from the drugs they had been testing on me. A good friend sent me a link to Jim Humble and information about MMS. Last October (07) I acquired a bottle, which took weeks to get (very frustrating). I had less than 3 weeks before my blood tests etc.. prior to the meeting at the hospital. Well, being a bit of an aggressive man when it comes to getting things done, I contacted Jim in Africa and discussed a protocol for my situation. I then stepped it up just a bit, knowing what my body could handle. I went to the appointment and the doctors told me that (viewing my test results) my past signs had all stabilized and they would check me out in a year. I also felt great, haven't been sick since I started, so I celebrated by going to a new country (Cuba) for few months. I also started a website and have been distributing MMS world wide. While there in Cuba, my new friend Alejandro showed up one Tuesday afternoon in terrible pain from an abscessed tooth. He had taken some pain medicine with no results, so I mixed up a 6 drop dose, waited 3 min. and then had him swirl it in his mouth. Within 20 minutes, his pain was gone. He saw the dentist on Thursday and did not suffer until the Cuban dentist worked on him. I have also met in person and by E-mail, so many cases of success regarding the supplement. I am going to return to Cuba next week and this time I will take more MMS. I had divided the one bottle I took for myself among so many people. I feel invincible again. mmscure com tells a few other stories from users. | |

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 4/5/2008 2:57:39 PM | The basic idea is to produce free oxygen radicals (the stuff anti-oxidants counter).
MMS sodium hypochlorite is talked about on many websites, eg:
http://www.healthsalon.org/265/mms-sodium-chloride-links-of-interest/
If this stuff really works, then BigPharma will tell their police branch, aka FDA, to shut it down.
MMS works by creating oxygen and oxygen radical that are known to kill bacteria, fungus, etc.
Many cancer chemos produce lots of ROS, reactive oxygen species, to kill the cancer, which is, esp in advanced stages, hypoxic, using with anaerobic metabolism (cancer ferments glucose for energy, rather than oxidation in the mitochondria). If you get oxygen radicals into/near the cancer cells, you have chance of killing them.
Another oxidizer is good old H2O2, hydrogen peroxide, which gives up the extra oxygen molecule, leaving plain water. Hydrogen peroxide is actually produced in the body. Some people think taking it orally also works, very simiar to MMS, making more oxygen available, oxidizing all the bad stuff like germs, fungi, cancer. There is doubt that oral H2O2 gets past the stomach. The FDA says don't take it orally, but who believes the FDA anymore? FDA also said Vioxx, Avandia, and HRT were OK.
Hydrogen peroxide is a very cheap, and very efffective topical anti-septic, including as a germ-killing mouthwash (harmless if you swallow a couple drops). Some form of peroxides are use as teeth whiteners, for bleaching action. In my mouth, H2O2 and whitening strips taste the same. H2O2 used daily as oral anti-septic also has some teeth-whitening action. :)

If it looks, sounds, tastes, feels, smells and quacks like spam, chances are pretty good it is spam. Oh look, it is your only post. Ever. Nice job.

You may be trying to be funny as well as wanting to 'protect' people from buying the product, but dismissing a message as being "spam," simply because you've never heard of it or tried it before, is narrowminded and unhelpful.
In my own experience, the supplement works incredibly well. And no, I am not a distributor or affiliated in any way with the MMS company.
This is my only post here also. I found this thread through a keyword search on a search engine, and posted this in reply because your message was written in ignorance.
Feel free to enjoy your prescription meds all you want. At least you still have a choice.

This is my only post here also. I found this thread through a keyword search on a search engine, Good thing no one has ever heard of viral marketing. Yes, I appreciate that there are many people who earn a living through joining internet communities and selling their posts as advertising. That does not mean in any way that your posts are valid.

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 12/19/2008 11:07:43 PM | | Now 1703hrs - took 3 drops with Coles apple juice @ 1600 hrs- not supposed to have added vitamin C and label doesn't say so - anywaym, no effect whatsoever and not unpleasant to take. To stop the taste becoming offensive over time took a mouthful of apple juice immediately took the mixture. Suspect Apple juice has things in it they don't put on the label. Let you know how I go - try it tomorrow with peppermint oil a suggestion I saw somewhere on the net. At least then I will know it has no additives. Been using it for my teeth for a week and it is significant that I have had no gum problems or sensitivity with my teeth at all during this time. Withhold my endorsement for another week. If this continue that will be confirmation to me as 14days without any of the aforementioned has not happened in the last 6-12 months. | |

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 12/20/2008 5:53:13 PM | May be of interest to you : I have been using it on my teeth for over a week. Don’t clean my teeth with my glasses on – did so a few minutes ago and blown away by the difference. My teeth are whiter than they have been in a decade!! And, my capped teeth that are supposed to never whiten once they are discoloured are whiter than I can remember. Had my teeth professionally cleaned a couple of months ago but this is surpasses results from that by far. Apparently professional whitening – top of the range procedure – can be painful and make your teeth more sensitive. This has done the complete opposite. ‘Rapt in the unexpected result – I was just experimenting on myself as I do. Noted your comments included processes I have tried in the past and they were not without merit but this leaves them for dead. Glad I stumbled across this medium as it appears to be a dynamic means of finding information otherwise unavailable.

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 12/20/2008 6:06:21 PM | Hi
I am avidly participating in this medium recently discovered for me. Great way to find dynamic information that possibly can be relied upon (reading between the lines) that is not otherwise available. Always hated the internet as it is full of misinformation and disinformation - but it appears you just have to be discerning and have all your senses in gear. Anyway, very interested in your experiences with MMS and the fact that you appear to be altruistic - bit of an empiphany there???? Started taking MMS orally yesterday and results on my teeth have been unsurpassed - 'rapt in the result in circa 1 week. More detail on your own experiences would be appreciated.

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 12/21/2008 7:44:58 AM | Just tried mmscure.com with no success?? Dorothy Very suspicious that the only posts Dorothy has ever made to the POF forums are those praising "MMS" on this forum! Same with all the other pro-MMS ers on this forum.
on edit: Ha Ha Ha MMS and Dorothy don't realize that POF actually shows the time of the post. Our little Dorothy gained a week of experience with this product in one day, if you care to note the times of her postings.
The only conclusion is that this company is a major lying scam.

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 12/27/2008 10:21:26 PM | Sorry if I seemed misleading Lil but it was in fact true. I was just really into what it had done for my teeth and in my excitment posted a lot in a short time. Nothing nefarious. I had been using it on my teeth for over a week before I was inspired to try it orally by some stories on the internet. Still seeing improvements in my teeth but nothing dire from the oral use at all. Little bit of runs, nothing to write home about. Sleep well. Found the apple juice I was using had added vitamin C so now using distilled water. 15 drops yesterday and today. Feel like I'm missing out as I have had no nausea etc. Think there are improvements as in general feeling of well being and sound sleeping, but they are not dramatic.
As far as I know this stuff is as cheap as chips and there are not capitalistic enterprises making big bucks out of it so I don't think there is a money making scam.

| MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 12/29/2008 11:34:12 AM | I find it hard to believe that anyone actually falls for this kind of stuff. It it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Do you have any real solid, independent information on the efficacy of this product? No. It kills bacteria? The good ones and the bad ones? Or some how it selectively knows how to pick out the good ones you need from the bad ones you don't want? Think about it.
Think of this: look at all the weight-loss products out there. If it were that easy, would obesity be epidemic?
Put on your thinking cap, girl. If you like wasting your money, fine. But don't be hoodwinked by the latest fad/scam.

I doubt that you will answer, but everyone else on here knows that it is a SPAM ploy. Whenever any company has to resort to such underhanded tactics, we know the product cannot stand on its own two feet.
You and your buddies have damaged any hope that MMS- Miracle Mineral Supplement is a bonafide product. Any Google search will bring this thread up.

I got into this to late to contribute to deleting it, but these kinds of posts have come up before, obvious attempts to promote a product. I hope the early birds will delete them in the future. | MMS-Miracle Mineral Supplement- Anyone Tried?? Posted: 12/31/2008 12:01:53 AM | Handmade What are the proprietary ingredients of this formula? And why should we consider it to be good for us when You have given us so little to go on. Their web site doesn't work for me either. I had to ge3t info from cached sites. I did some investigation and found this about sodium chlorite or better known as NA CL O2
"Sodium Chlorite OxyChem is the largest North American producer of sodium chlorite. Manufactured in our facility in Wichita, Kansas, sodium chlorite has a variety of applications in pulp and paper, textiles, electronics, water treatment, food processing and metal finishing. OxyChem is also one of the nation's largest suppliers of sodium chlorite to service companies providing chlorine dioxide and equipment to markets in municipal water management, papermaking and other industrial markets.
Sodium chlorite is available in dry form (in drums) or as a solution (in bulk, totes or drums). Our sodium chlorite is registered as a pesticide with the U.S. EPA, meets AWWA B3030-88, and is certified by NSF to comply with NSF/ANSI Standard 60 requirements."
Ok so those of you giving into buying coffee filters that are brown instead of white then you know what this is.
Oh yeah it sould be only pennies t obuy a bottle. Less than a dollar for sure. But not the $15 dollars list price. Oh and did you read?It is listed as a pesticide.Hmm must be good for the teeth.
No just another Frickin swindeal. Some assa makes money because you didn't check. Wake up. Grow up. And stop putting up with nonsense.
Happy new year
