| How long would you wait for sex with a woman?
Posted: 1/5/2008 4:36:47 PM | Was chatting with my friends, and we got onto the subject of first tiem sex with new dates.
Each of us had a different opinion...if you feel the urge go for it....wait for a couple of dates..or one friend who insisted that it was better to wait for at least a couple of months..that way the guy would stay around.
Just thought I'd get a guys pointof view....how long would you wait??? | |

With where I'm at in my life I am looking for some one for the long haul so before the sexual connection is added to the mix I want to get to know her first. So if its 2 months, 4 or 6 thats fine becuase if i have that connection with her and i feel she could be the one i can wait. It may be fustrating as all hell at times but to me it can only make it more spectacular when it does happen. | |

The only thing I recommend is not doing the whole "withholding sex" just to see how long he sticks around game. Men enjoy head games about as much as women. | |

Posted: 1/5/2008 5:07:14 PM | If she was purposely making me wait for the sake of seeing if I would stay around, I would consider that to be manipulative, and likely leave.
On the other hand, if it took a few months for her to become comfortable in the relationsip to progress to that level, well, then it wouldn't exactly be 'waiting', since usually it takes time for that level of mutual intimacy to develop between two people.
For me personally, I'm on the shy side and it usually takes a while for me to feel comfortable with any new people I get to know, so if anything, some of the women in my past relationships might have felt that THEY were the ones waiting for me. Mind you it wasn't a deliberate plan of mine, it just sometimes takes me a while to feel comfortable with people.
If that's the case with you and your friends, that it'll happen whenever they're comfortable in the relationship and sex would naturally feel 'right', then I would concure. However, if it is a deliberate 'ploy' to wait x number of months or a certain number of dates, then I consider that game playing and manipulation. | |

I don't wait at all. If I'm not having sex, I'm not in a committed relationship. Not that sex is the be all and end all of life, but I'm not going go without it just because a single girl won't give it to me, because she "wants to be sure."

I like to keep it simple. When I was ready, I grabbed my boyfriend, threw him down on my bed, ignored his "deer in headlights" look, jumped on top, and announced, "Time for Nookie!!" Then I waited for a few seconds for a response, whereupon he said, "Uhhhh, ok." And that was that. No having to worry, wonder, or question. | |
