the joy of life

,.,life is the smile in your child's face. life is waking up in the morning to a warm .embrace. life is in the way the the rain drops gently against the .windowpane. life is the music you hear that reminds you of times of happiness and innocent let never waned. life is that soft summer breeze that blows gently against your face that send your spirits soaring into the warm summer sky. life is seeing your loved ones everyday and the way they respond to you with that loving twinkle in their eyes. life is the distant sound of a ,trains whistle deep into the night, feeling you with comfort that your not alone and things are alright. life is love an the rewards that come with it. life is the ability to slow down and enjoy life and never miss it.

You are grandiose if you are the author of that,
to those words surely follows a luxuriant period of life that you are living,
also waked up in me again marvelous forgotten instants of great life and joys intensely lived..
life is beautiful, colored and flood of good sounds!
We don't allow anybody to darken our lifes
to keep silent our lifes.

Naw...I wouldn't say that just because we're buds. I would commend good writing even if it came from my worst enemy (if I had one). It came from the heart and it came from your own experiences.

The butt? Well, yeah...I've been meaning to get back there for some maintenance but it's hard to get to it regularly. I'm not as flexible as I used to be.

Keep on, chuck. The heart is an involuntary muscle and poetry follows its beat.

The joy of life
inspires hope in the soul’s depth
discovers the beauty in the light that each has
The joy of life makes you climb the tallest peaks
It makes you fly beyond the door’s stars reach
It makes you see rainbows in the darkness
the joy of life is lover and bride of love
...Too often we are shut there behind our windows…
we defend as we can…
....but we darken there our soul too….
Little time now I reopened my shutters….Life…joy of life…
…Archers courage!… Aim to my heart if you are ables!…
To this obscurity, I prefer an arrow that breaks my heart….

Melina

Ps:Goat Hi!
I follow you...you are on the right way.....

Joy of life...but at night?
you see the night of your life gathered with blackness... not light not joy with you at evening time..But the time of thine extremity is just the moment of were new opportunity of joy begin.
When the tide run out to its very furthest, then it began to turn; thine ebb have its flow; the winter have its summer; the sunset have its sunrise, even evening time has is lights ...that's joy of life...
Life is no brief candle ...It is a sort of splendid torch which I've got hold of for the moment...
and is a joy... really a JOY to make it burn as brightly as possible before handling it on...
to future generations...
Melina

The joy of life begins with the birth of life....every moment we are alive....we are one second closer to death...It's so important to enjoy the time inbetween....seeing my son for the first time, and being able to hold him almost made me cry-#1 moment in my life...and he's been a total joy since....most recent joy ??? Making someone special happy and filling them with happiness.....

P.S. Ciao bella Melina...to voglio bene.....hermosa, mamma mia

There are a lot of painful joy
in life,
but also a lot of very sweet pain

Ave! To my painful joy!
Salve! To my sweet pain!

Chuck you kinda explained life in a positive way but that's not life.Life is not always positive, at least not for everybody.
I believe life has positive and negative sides because without them, there is no life.
If you're rich maybe your life is perfect but still maybe not, because you see a rich man's daughter gets sad and breaks down because her daddy didn't buy her a porsh, while on the other side you see people crying to get a slice of bread for the day.
So my advice to you is write it in the truth way, what life really is.

i see your point, but if you noticed the poem is titled the joy of life. really no point in putting negatives in a poem with a positive title, don't you think?.

You see Chuck, English it is not my language, Americans to express them use often a lot of ways to say... abbreviations.. onomatopoeics...oh (remember the 'Salad'?)......lol....so I find difficult to follow your comments and I don't often understand, I believe even that perhaps my thoughts don't come to you comprehensible, however this encouragement of you give me more than trust...
Thanks Poeta I like your thread.

Sorry, chuck, for crowding your thread....but...

Melina, he's right. If I can run a thread of horrible poetry and not have it edited, deleted and ridiculed, a poet of your talent deserves a space here.

Bugger proper English. You've got heart.

Life is joy. Anyone who tells anyone different is either suffering a rash or selling something. Go ahead and try to argue with me. I'm a bitter old goat.

Er...okay chuck, the floor's all yours.

PS: I managed to do that...y'know...that cleaning thing. Just so you know.

A drop of joy of life
to receive approval of special people...
...Think that was one of those evenings without light!
A pinch of sugar... and changes the course of my day...

Thanks Ghoat You are a Maestro.

Joy of life and suffer of life are inseparable.

When you have joy of life....think.... you will discover that what is now giving you joy it is only what before has given you sorrow.

When you are sorry .....you will see that you are crying for what first was your joy.

..the same well from which your joy raises, has been filled often by your tears.

as much pain engraves depth in your being, as much more joy can be contained.
