Posted: 1/9/2008 11:42:41 AM | Just wondering if you know any asian males who have ever married a beautiful caucasian female and the relationship has lasted over 10 years?
It seems to me that asian males are usually dating " non glamorous "caucasian females or glamorous caucasian females who have no intention with sticking with them.Well here in the UK anyway.Is it seen as a sin or something? Do caucasian females fear the triads?Is it social stigma?
Only asking this because i'm asian and can't bear to ;
date female caucasians whom i don't find attractive
or
comply to the trap of "sticking" to ones own race which further promotes divides.  | |

Posted: 1/9/2008 11:52:36 AM | Well, "glamor" is in the eye of the beholder. One man can't account for another man's taste. But, no--I've never seen an Asian dude with a glamorous white woman. I knew an Asian guy who married a very nice, but very average-looking Ashkenazi Jewish woman. I've seen Asian guys with full-figured women who generally wouldn't be considered "glamorous".
Bruce Lee's widow is by no means glamorous, and Bruce probably had the best opportunities out of any Asian male in the past 50 years to choose whomever he wanted. If the OP wants a glamorous Caucasian woman for a LTR, he's going to have pursue the kind of woman he wants. Gotta have the lifestyle and the social skills which will entice a woman to make the investment. As with all of us guys--sitting around and hoping the woman you want will call you out of the blue--will never work.  | |

He also used to be my neighbor, and I was over at his house one night playing pool and drinking beer, and he came downstairs with a sackful of sample packs of Levitra and Viagra and started handing them out like Halloween candy. We were all like, "Aw man, we don't need this stuff!" He said, "NEED it??? Who cares if you NEED it!??? This sh*t is fun!!!"
So I laughed and asked him, "Wait - are you saying you condone the recreational use of drugs?" He said, "These I do!!!" 
So anyway - if he's poppin' those things like M & M's, my guess is he probably keeps his little American wifey VERY happy!

Posted: 1/9/2008 3:28:15 PM | Asian? Is exactly *what*? Is it like "Oriental?" Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese, Filipinos, Laotians, etc. all fit. But each culture is very very different from any of the others. Add to that whether they are immigrants, first or second generation, and to what new culture?
Even within one culture are vast personality differences. When I lived in China, I wouldn't have dated or become involved in any way with most of the men I met. However, I met and married a Chinese Physics student. We were married for 12 years. Eventually, his mother came to live with us, and that pretty much spelled the end of the marriage.

One of my dearest friends is Indonesian. He really had it for me, but I wouldn't date him romantically only because I was already living with someone. But he has many many friends, and dated this gorgeous woman for a while, and is now married to a very attractive and successful woman.
For the sake of the world, OP, why don't you date other Asian women or others outside your race? Why do you need to focus on white women? I find it ironic that you're complaining that white women are biased, but isn't that exactly what you're doing yourself? | |

Members of the Baha`i Faith promote interracial marriage and relationships as well as mixed income relationships. Sounds like Ba Hi .
Very interesting post. My very first experience with a whitewoman was with a woman from Great Britian. She moved to the U.S.A. specifically to be able to date blackmen. The problem was that she would use & trick wealthy white guys here in the states into supporting her. Example; because she had an English accent. The wealthy white guys thought that she was a very high class lady. I ended it with her when she told me that she was dating a whiteguy who owned 3 Gas stations and she was using him to pay her rent & put her daughter through college. Her words to me exactly were; " I have him exactly where I want him ". She told me that once, "she almost got caught" (and yes, she had her daughters in on the act). She had gone out, her & her daughter, with this whiteguy once and upon returning (entering the house) the phone rang. On the other end of the phone was her (Black Lover) and he (the black guy) told her that he was on his way over & then quickly hang up the phone before she could speak. Well, immediately, she began to fake illness. Her daughter seeing this, picked right up on it and started "feeling" sick herself . Seeing this, the whiteguy left the house. As he was walking to his car, the black lover crossed his path and they spoke to oneanother as they walked. She saw them speak as she (the english lady) looked out the window. She had more than one black love interest and was honest with all except the wealthy white guy. | |

The reason I want to be involved is because I have always been attracted to intelligent men. Even as a child, I have want to be with the smart boys. The real question is this: where are all the smart Asian guys around Richmond and further south?

Are you sure you're stuck in the UK? My Asian ex-husband grew up in an area where everyone looked alike (Northern Michigan -- most were blond haired, blue eyed and racist, according to HIM), and he had TONS of trouble getting dates.
When he moved to Washington, women THREW themselves at him, and still do, at 41. I'm not kidding or exaggerating. I witnessed it, and continue to witness it even though we are divorced. The area in which you live is quite relevant. | |
