| | Men with beards and moustaches - is it sexy?Page 1 of 6 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) | Following on from the baldness thread, do women on here find men with facial hair sexy?
I like men clean shaven, or that first thing in the morning stubble!
My ex hubby had a beard to cover facial moles which he was embarrased about.
What do women think of men with facial hair?
Men - why do you choose to have facial hair? Or why do you not have facial hair?

Posted: 1/11/2008 4:57:55 AM | | Just so this thread doesn't get deleted on the grounds of sexism, I would just like to say that I find facial hair on women replulsive and that includes that ever so faint moustache and no matter what, I just can't stop staring.

| Men with beards and moustaches - is it sexy? Posted: 1/11/2008 5:01:12 AM | I think it is , but then im biased as i have a stubbley beardy thing goin on. Its winter dammit !! I need to have a warm face , and clean-shaven is just not on at this time of the year , and besides , im single so i have no woman to complain about beard rash , or as my ex affectionately called it -- " chin pie " | |

| Men with beards and moustaches - is it sexy? Posted: 1/11/2008 5:02:20 AM | I prefer clean shaven.
There are more guys now just with a goatee and moustaches are pretty dated now. I'd don't mind goatee's so much but wouldn't go out with a guy with a beard nor a guy with just a moustache.

Men - why do you choose to have facial hair?
Shaving is (or I should say was) a terribly unpleasant activity for me. Nicks and cuts virtually every time, only to have to repeat the next morning. Trimming my beard is quick and painless, and I only need to do it once a week or so.

| Men with beards and moustaches - is it sexy? Posted: 1/11/2008 7:22:55 AM | It's a well known fact that one of the downsides of smoking is that women become hairier all over. Is it? I didn't know that! Please could you point me at some info about this? (I've Googled, and can only come up with research about smoking related to hair loss). Ta.
OT: Depends on the man. | |

| Men with beards and moustaches - is it sexy? Posted: 1/11/2008 7:23:36 AM | MSG 20- ^^ That's why I prefer non-smoking women!
I admit, I hate shaving but I also hate facial hair so I tend to shave once every two or three days but I am thinking about going against the norm for myself and growing a little tuff of hair below my lower lip just as a natural individual sort of decoration and identity, it feels nice when a woman plays with my fluffy bits!

As for women with moustaches, this occurs because they smoke too many cigarettes. It's a well known fact that one of the downsides of smoking is that women become hairier all over.
Is it a well known fact? One would assume if smoking makes women hairier it also has the same effect on men. So I guess men who smoke must have to shave more often?

| Men with beards and moustaches - is it sexy? Posted: 1/11/2008 8:23:31 AM | It seems not! After De La Creme's post I went searching for info.... the anti-smoking sites were the most informative. It seems that smoking increases the testosterone in ones body. Therefore, women get MORE facial/body hair, and men go bald!
Another excellent reason for not smoking, I'd say.
