Posted: 1/15/2008 10:20:04 PM | So a friend of mine that I go to school with said that she used to participate in a 'darering' with a bunch of her friends during high school. She asked if I had ever done one or wanted to do it. Well, I had no clue what she was talking about, so she told me to look it up....maybe I'm just a shut-in.
Darering:
Players sit in a circle and are each assigned a number for dice rolls.
The game begins with Player 1 drawing a card out of a bag containing
all the cards for Round 1. They must then do whatever that card says.
Once that Truth or Dare is accomplished, the next player draws a card.
The game goes around the circle like this until there are no cards left.
Then it is time for the next round.
When you play DareRing, you give control to the cards.
You must decide how much you and your friends are willing to risk.
Don't use names. Use player numbers or a roll of the dice.
DareRing leaves much more to chance than standard Truth or Dare.
Round 1 you have cards that say simple small stuff like,
"When did you lose your virginity?"
"Have you ever had sex with a member of the same sex? if not, have you ever though about it or wanted to? Would you do it?"
etc...
Round 2
"If your number comes up you must remove a piece of clothing."
"Kiss Player 5 on the mouth."
"You may make any player remove a piece of clothing, if you will also take off one of yours."
"Put on the blindfold. A random player will kiss you, then you must guess who it was. If you guess wrong, take off a piece of clothing."
"Pick a player and strip them of a piece of clothing."
etc...
Round 3
"Roll the dice. If that player is topless, suck on their nipples for 30 seconds. If that player is not topless, suck on their fingers or toes instead."
"Roll the dice. If that player is naked, give them oral sex for 30 seconds. If they are not nude, skip this turn."
"You may make any nude player give any other nude player oral sex for 30 seconds if you will then do the same."
"You may make any player who has lost all their clothes perform oral sex on you until you are satisfied."
etc...
If a dare asks you to involve another player based on a dice roll,
and you end up rolling your own number, then roll the dice again.
Do not put any card back unless the card instructs you to do so.
All dares must be performed in front of all the other players.
Players should understand what the stakes are before the game begins.
Dares are not optional. If you agree to play, you accept any outcome.

Posted: 1/15/2008 11:55:13 PM | Honestly this game sounds a little weird - but so long as everyone's a consenting adult, then have at it.
Just keep in mind that things like "Player 5", "nipples" and "oral sex" are all sex-nonspecific - so you'll probably have a better time if you're bi.

But Kissing and removing clothing (maybe a sock?), or guessing who kissed me seems pretty harmless to me. Well it was, I played something like this before. | |

Posted: 1/16/2008 12:36:21 PM | It does sound like a slightly updated version of Truth or Dare, perhaps with a little more "force" behind needing to perform the actions.
I can't imagine most guys agreeing to things like performing oral sex on another guy, though!
I played a similar game on New Year's Eve with some friends... although we significantly simplified it and made it just "Dare." Play blackjack, winner gets to dare another player to do something... it was interesting! | |

But the blocks will say something like, "Switch underwear with the person directly to your left." "Take the person of your choice to the back room." To me, it's fun for about 5 minutes. | |

The last thing you want to do is cause hard feelings with friends or family, and for me personally, I have always preferred to do my sexual, sensual activities, one on one, and alone......

I miss the Good Ole Days when all you did was spin the bottle and keep an eye on the door for the parents.
I agree. But now that I'm older a game of truth or dare with an S/O can be fun occationally too. Not that I need a dare to peel her pants off with my teeth or ummmm..... never minds. I reckon I need to go call somebody.. | |
