Is it something your kids did that you just have to think of to start off a giggle fit? How about Larry the Cable Guy or Achmed the Dead Terrorist?? (if you've never seen either of them, do a search on YouTube lol)
Share some memories on those times where you just couldn't stop laughing no matter how hard you tried..... it actually made it harder to stop the more you TRIED to stop!! 
My mom and I were at Christmas Eve service in church many years ago..... someone behind us let out this bodily function that, from sitting on those hard pews, sounded like fingernails going down a chalkboard. Mom and I took one look at each other and burst into laughter!!! Terrible, I know, but just "one of those moments! No matter how hard we tried, there was just no stopping..... many people around us started to giggle and teehee..... it got so bad that after a couple of minutes, one of the ushers came and asked us to step out until we regained control!! Geez.... escorted out of church.... that can't be good. giggle giggle....

Posted: 1/16/2008 6:57:36 AM | I saw an HBO special with Gilbert Godfreid. His jokes were old, but his mannerisms, and delivery crack me up. He also does impressions of other commedians. His Jerry Seinfeld is a hoot.
My all time favorite was Rodney Dangerfield. He was so animated and believable in his act. He also never changed from character over the years.
Originality in a commedian's act is what I like.
The good ones refrain from profanity as much as possible too. | |

Several years ago, an older man was reading the Christmas story, and I swear he said, "....gold, FRANKENSTEIN and myrh. We had two pews of family members and we were allllll giggling uncontrollably.
When my niece was 6 or 7, her family was going to the beach for vacation. They were staying in a "condom" on the beach. When she said that, I swear I didn't think I was ever going to stop laughing. Her daddy had to explain to her what a "condom" is as opposed to "condo" or "condominium".
It doesn't take much to get me going. And it's embarrassing because I turn REALLLY red. | |

Not to much on the TV makes me bust a gut but a few that do are Dave Chappell show has some funny stuff. Seinfeld is always funny..or any show that has people getting scared like just for laughs type of shows. | |

Posted: 1/16/2008 5:22:38 PM | The only stand up comedian that I have ever been able to listen to without getting bored is Richard Pryor. That man was comic genius and what was so unique about him is he talked about real issues but had you laughing hysterically. Thats what he did for me.

Posted: 1/16/2008 5:31:29 PM | I was raised on british humor and anything by Monty Python I think is the best or close to it. Alot of other good british humor.... Mr.Bean, Little Britain, Faulty Towers, Garth Marenghi, etc.... I can't think of a big list now.
For stand up comics I like Classic Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Dane Cook, ... I don't know, there alot of great comics out there.
If I want instant laughter I got to youtube and check out funny animal videos.... there are limitless funny animal videos on there. | |

"We're just two ladies don't you know" "uh uh uh" "Margaret, there's a fellow here who wants to know if we have any books on yellow breasted swallows that migrate to the North Pole" Monty Python "He's not dead -- he's pining for the fjords" "I came here for an arguement -- no you didn't -- yes I did -- you did not -- that's not arguing, you're just being contrary -- no I'm not -- yes you are" to cite just a few examples of what cracks me up amongst those.
Marty Feldmen in Young Frankenstein driving the coach with Terri Garr back to FrankenstEEn castle -- Cloris Leachman's character (who's name escapes me) .. at the mention of her name throughout the movie, the horses in the barn whinney !! 
Steve Martin.....I think I have all of his albums. And Stephen Wright.
Oh, and almost anything my 3 yr old nephew tells me ! That child has a gift for the gab... and in such an earnest manner.

South Park's Scientology episode and Guitar Hero episode-awesome.

Posted: 1/17/2008 4:12:23 AM | 'Trailer Park Boys' and some of the shows that follow it from time to time. I like Bubbles coz my cat sleeps on my head too. Just about any of the stand-up routines on the Comedy channel no matter if the show is a repeat or not. The guy who we later find has a twin brother in the movie 'Casino'. Most of his lines are great.
