| Interesting Shrimp Posted: 1/18/2008 9:51:32 PM | This is a great appetizer guaranteed to make a hit with a date, or at a party. Peel and dehead shrimp. (1lb. for two) Wrap each shrimp with 1 piece of bacon, cut bacon with sissors, then put a tooth-pick in to hold the bacon. Place in a pan, if you have a rack to put them on, so greese will drip off the shrimp, thats recommended. If not, then just place in the pan. Put in oven at 350*, when shrimp get pink, and bacon starts looking cooked, flip them and finish cooking on other side. Doesn't take too long, about 20 min. on each side. After taking out, melt a half cup of butter or margerine, for dipping.
Ohhhhhh, la la, your date will come back for some more, and more. | |

| Interesting Shrimp Posted: 1/24/2008 8:43:43 PM | Thank you shieldvulf, but I really never time it, just keep checking on it. I never time a recipe. For this one, I go by the looks, and 15/20min. just might be right on. Thank you again, but try it, for sure, it's very good. Keep an eye on it, cause if it burns, you might never see that date again. | |

| Interesting Shrimp Posted: 1/24/2008 8:51:38 PM | Rsx11s, Thank you for this info. I've been making this for about 40 yrs. and never knew the name. Like yours, but don't think I could handle the "chicken livers", , so I'll have to stick a shrimp up in there somewhere, lol. | |

| Interesting Shrimp Posted: 1/24/2008 9:12:06 PM | Wiskey woman, Now I didn't say this was very healthy, dietary, nor cholesterol free, , but this sure will ring you a second date, that is if he lives thru eating this without dropping dead instantly, or putting him into the hospital for a major heart attack. .....On the other hand, if you have a date you don't like, I would suggest to you to load him up with this appetizer, and you not only won't have to see him anymore, but you can visit his gravesite ever so often and tell him how much you're sorry that things didn't work out between ya'll. Good luck! Happy fishing..... | |

| Interesting Shrimp Posted: 1/24/2008 9:24:36 PM | Roseboots, Well, about your question.....you're a very pretty lady and I'm sure he'll come back for more of you, but if the shrimp appetizer is served, you never know, he might start bringing you jewels, (diamonds), and lots of jewelry, maybe even a car of your dreams. Don't forget valentines is coming very soon, so get on his good graces, and this shrimp appetizer will do the trick. Happy hunting.... | |

| Interesting Shrimp Posted: 1/25/2008 10:30:58 AM | Weezygirl, I do add the garlic at times into the butter dip, and that just adds the icing on the cake, so to speek. Great suggestion. And I will try the sea scallops, others have suggested that, it sounds great. To add to yours and others, you also can marinate the shrimp, with bacon wrap, or sea scallops wrapped an hour or so before cooking. "WOW".....this will definately pull em...hook, line, and sinker! Great recipe Weezygirl! You go girl! Line the guys up at your doorstep.
