| Ladies, I need some assistance here
Posted: 1/18/2008 11:41:46 PM | Ladies, please check out my profile and let me know what I'm doing wrong. :-) There are plenty of fish, but the bait just ain't working. 
I made some edits since the last time I asked for a review a couple weeks ago to give it good organization and captions for the pictures. I feel very confident that the profile now gives a lot of insight into my character and personality (insofar as the Internet is capable of, that is), but still.... I wonder if I need to get plastic surgery or something, LOL. | |

letters and interest you're seeking. The 'bait' you're using, the photos you're displaying, indeed the mannerism implied and manifested in your profile, are all great bait for attracting gay men. Be that as it may, you may want to explore what I see as latent homosexual tendencies in your persona and expression; there is nothing wrong with being yourself and following your desires in what attracts you, and it need not be the opposite sex just because an invisible man with a big book deems it sequitur, and then demands those in opposition be eradicated.
God is imaginary, and the people that would condemn a homosexual to death do so by 'a nod from God' or at least that's what the good book demands. It's good to know that this sort of God inspired debauchery has lost favour in religious circles, and that there are only a few debased individuals clinging on to this sort of rhetoric.
I can promise you that there are just as many homosexuals in heaven as there are straight God -fearing men! :)

Posted: 6/3/2008 6:47:30 AM | I think what the guy above me was saying is that you look like a twink. Boy he took a while to get there, he could have done what I do do and say "You look like a twink". You do by the way. You may want to reconsider the approach in the photos.
If they are not real army uniforms then best you be getting ridding of those photos. If they are, then you may want to explain what a 20 year old 'student' was doing in said army.
From there.. yeah... I will wait until you sort those issues out before going further. | |

My intent wasn't to make him feel bad about what I observe, just to let him know that it's okay to be what you are. I don't think using an euphemism such as 'twink' to label someone of his age will help him in self-realization, as I'm sure he'll deny the title and allusion :)
If you read his profile you'll see that he claims to be a Paralegal with JAG, and a reservist, by the way. | |

Think so? Well, unfortunately, men don't turn me on. It's been that way before and after adopting my present religious convictions, or what have you.

Posted: 6/7/2008 4:56:33 PM | Anyway, the profile as it is has been up for only about a week. Before, it was a lot more "normal", I guess is the word. I'll leave this one up as it is for another week or so, and if nothing happens, I'll switch it back to the old version.
However, to be honest, this profile's counterpart on Ok cupid.com (the other free dating site) is doing fairly well. | |
