........no one believed that the Giants coulda made it this far!......i believe that the Giants are a team that slowly improved and perfected their game as the season progressed......thus i believe that they are as worthy as the remaining 3 teams that are left (rather than being viewed as the 'lesser' of the 4)..........while they may not be the favorites, they have established themselves as a 'force' to be reckoned with... in that they have won a record number of games on the road to propel them in the position they are in now!....based on their focus, momentum and confidence that they have gained....i believe that they have just AS GOOD a chance of beating the Packers as they did with Dallas!

let the count-down proceed!......................

As much as I enjoyed the Giant's run, I'm afraid they don't have a prayer.
The Packers, on the other hand...

Our Favre,
Who art in Lambeau,
Hallowed be thine arm.
Thy bowl will come,
It will be won.
In Phoenix as it is in Lambeau.
And give us this Sunday,
Our weekly win.
And give us many touchdown passes.
But do not let others pass against us.
Lead us not into frustration,
But deliver us to the valley of the sun.
For thine is the MVP, the best of the NFC,
and the glory of the Cheeseheads,
now and forever.
Go get’em. Amen.”

GO PACK GO!
(where's a cheesehead icon when I need one?)

Won't the passing game be effected with the weather for both teams ?
Brett F has the inexperience but.. being from Indy (home of the world champions for at least 2 more weeks ) I want Eli to win tonight !!
If it were any other team playing tonight.. i would be taking the Packers.. but.. I am loyal to the Mannings.

Good Luck !!

Brett is having fun again.
He (finally) has a team with some TALENT again.
And a coach who seems to know what he's doing.
It's going to be no degrees at game time.
Even less with the wind chill.
Bye-bye Giants.

As for the Soup Bowl, all they need to do is take a page from the old Jerry Galnville play book.
Cut the head off the snake.
Which means one good, jarring hit to dislocate something in Rande' Mo', and get into Tommy Brady's face.
Constantly.
Knock him down, beat him up, make him wish he was home with the Brady Bunch.
That's how the Cowboys 'dynasty' (Aikman/Irwin/Smith) ended, that's how the Patsies ' will end.

Yeah...he cut about 4 new ads last week, while his younger brother was at practice, prepping to play Sunday.

I'm pulling for New York. It's been so long since they've won it all.

Plus, my dad is big NY Giants fan.

Bad part is now we all have to get used to 17 Again's victory dance until superbowl sunday.

We have been the underdog all season and still see they get no respect from earthling so far.

Earthling

I will have to admit this; it was one of the best games that I've EVER seen.

I don't like either team...

Giants deserve to go to the big one.

Congrats...

that would have been 1 awesome game to go to.

Hope the G-Men can finish off Brady this time around. (As an Eagles fan, I can't believe I'm saying that!)

OMG, ITS THE APOCALYPSE ! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!

i dont believe this!!! It's a miracle!!! there are no flags on the field!!!!

opps. wrong nfl moment

Im shocked. after growing up. year after year, in the NYC Metropolitan area watching the Jets with their paper bag hats and the giants choke. im shocked.

Its almost unreal. year after year after year of the high hopes and disappointing draft picks.(minus the 2k team.). it was rough and had learned to not get your hopes up high. look at what happends. they WIN THE NFC

CONGRATS TO BIG BLUE!!! GO G- MEN!!!

.
NOTE: ive been following them since dave brown was QB. Phil simms, very little i remember. mostly because i was very young at the time.i do remember when retired though.

I don't think Favre is going to retire with his last pass being an interception in OT during the big NFC game. The Packers are a young team and I think he'll come back for another season.
