Love - Is it like a cupid's arrow?

When people find love, is it like the movies where the cupid points the arrow at one person and then shoots the arrow at the other party?

One time, years ago, I was dating this guy. I swear, at about 2 pm I felt this rush of omg-I think I am in love kind of feeling. 5 mins later, I get this email from him saying that he was longing for me and how it is possible to feel the way he does, when we just basically met.

It was the coolest thing to think that maybe we had just been shot by cupid's arrow at the same time.

Has that ever happened to anyone before?

Yup, it happened for US!! We were cautious with our words but then they came out at the same time, after time!! But, we both knew before our love grew and continues to grow!!

Yes and no...........I was stung by the love bug way way back and TRIED to hold it in. He was CRAZY about me, but chicken as hell about COMMITTMENT, LOVE, etc. LOL

We broke up twice because we got too close for his comfort and he was afraid.

BUT, guess what?

He really was stung too, and was trying to deny it, and came back to me, professing that he had loved me all along.........

So, it might be that way, but SOME people deny themselves the pleasure, because of past hurt, fears, rejections...............
