Things like this:
Very much like the user name I chose, I am not in need of being rescued.
I am not into sports or card games or board games,,,, hell I just don't like games.
I don't much care for rudeness. Being mean spirited is a far worse trait, than any other.
I hate to doing the dishes. . I snore.
For the record, I don't think romantic dinners are romantic, nor walks on the beach.
I think life happens while you are waiting for so pay attention.
This is just my womanly opinion of course, but what should sound like confidence and independence on your part, comes off sounding emasculating , demanding and a little snotty, if I'm being honest. There is a fine line between those things. I'm thinking maybe in some men's cases, you've crossed the line. Maybe just a little less harsh wording, without changing who you are would help. Hopefully, some men post here for you and let you know what they think. Good Luck! | |

I think good profiles should entice people by what they see, perhaps something in common like music or hobbies. Once that's established then you can slowly reveal your hidden depths. Isn't that how a relationship works. I don't know, it's a bloody long time since I've had one. | |

1 Put up at least one picture of yourself as you would possibly look when meeting someone the first time. This should be the pic that people see when you are online. If you wish to show other modes of dress then do so after that. Pictures are critical to getting the attention of the opposite sex. Do not be afraid to do this as the world is a very varied place and there are people who are attracted to all shapes and sizes. And even more critical A picture will get people to viw your profile.
2 Do NOT list what you dont want, instead list the things you do want or need. People react much more readily to positivity. (EG I love hugs and kisses rather than I dislike people who are afraid to touch)
3 With your intrests keep them to a minimum. yours is such a long list I would be unsure which were the things you enjoyed doing most. Do not list titles but catagories. (EG Movies instead of a list of movies)
I have been very lucky on this site, I have met a lady and we are getting married next year, so I guess both my and her profiles worked as we found each other.
