Posted: 1/27/2008 8:25:34 PM | I often see this "I'll treat you like a Queen" ...uhmmm promise (?) in many men's profiles, and I was wondering what it entails.
I wasn't born a Blueblood, so I never demanded people to kneel and kiss the hem of my garment or fan me with peacock feather fans and such.
I’m not even sure what this Royal treatment is, so I would appreciate if you guys let me in the secret of what is that you do,
and the gals who got such a treatment, please tell us if it really is such a great thing and worth pursuing, and if it is worth all the hoopla about it…

When I was married, my ex LOVED the fact that he felt like the KING of the house... However I felt like nothing more than a servant.
He told everyone that HE KNEW the marriage was over, when he was no longer the king... YEP...He was right on that, nine years of servitude left me with no benefits except for experience, but I was GLAD I took my release...
I don't know if I would want someone that treated me like a Queen... Kings are NOT known for being good with their queen, and past that, they would be nothing more than a servant... I want an equal, not a servant myself... | |

Posted: 1/28/2008 2:24:00 AM | when i hear that i run for the hills.....i broke up with my ex 2 months ago...He always said that he would treat me like a queen...we were together for 2 years, yet i saw none of that........it was a relationship fill of emotional, psycological and physical abuse..The only time he would treat me like a queen is when he would buy me things to make up for it (which he use to steal the money from me anyways)...So i would just run and run fast

It means with respect, caring, and understanding that goes along with you being a woman and him being a man. It means opening a door, helping you on with your coat, listening to you when you talk, talking to you when you need to listen. All in all it means to treat you like a lady.
