| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 9:34:05 AM | I shave my head because when it grows out it curls, and is a pain to take care of. Some women are immediately attracted to it, others think I'm a neo nazi, or need rogaine. So what's the general opinion ladies? Is shaved hot or not? | |

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 9:36:57 AM | Well if you cant win em over with the neo nazi look you could always give em a good headbutt to convince them...
yeah...
convince them real good.

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 9:44:40 AM | I keep my hair very short. Once in a while I use a razor to shave it all off.
It looks good on athletic guys. But on a fat guy it looks like crap.
neo nazi look
It takes more than a shaved head to have that look.
Many people in the military and in law enforcement shave their heads.

I've had the first reaction, never had either of the other 2 reactions.

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 10:43:01 AM | | I`ve shaved mine since I left school and I have the same problem. Its the older women who seem to be attracted to it with me. I`ve also got a few tattoos and because i`ve got a skinhead and tattoos its the younger generation who seem to think i`m a nazi! | |

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 10:47:59 AM | I'm ambivalent. I never think a guy is a neo-nazi just because their head is shaved. I may think he's losing his hair, but that's about it.
You can't really go wrong with a look that is most attractive for your face and head shape. :) If it works, it works.
|
| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 10:49:20 AM | It's a question of taste really. Plus some guys will look better shaved, while some will have the neo nazi look, no matter how big a smile they put on.. I know it's comfy. Especially in the summer. And I think it's most important that you feel good that way. Still, if your girl wants to see your curls.. I'm sure you'd grow them for her. :)
The good thing about guys and hair is that it's usually much easier for them to change the style than for the girls..

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 10:50:15 AM | "I like shaved heads - especially when the stubble grows back as it feels quite fluffy!!"
Thats my favorite part, although I think it feels fuzzy. Tickles you hand whe you rub his head.
|
| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 10:54:17 AM | | I like hair. If it's neat (or curly), the more the better! However, I could fall in love with a guy with a shaved head. In the end, it's what's in his head, not what's on it, that makes him interesting and attractive. | |

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 2:33:01 PM | I've never Bic'd my head but I do keep it very short (#1 on the shears), mostly because I hate my hair too lol. It's thicker than snot and straight as an arrow when it's longer, and I basically need quick dry cement to hold it in place.
Add on the cost of hair products and hair cuts at a proper salon (I run from places like First Choice or Supercuts or "XXXXX" $12 hair cut place), I save myself a lot of money and frustration by shaving my head
It's always nice having all the ladies rub my head when it's freshly shaved too lol!!! Free scalp massages are great!
edit: one huge drawback is the crazy sunburns you can get in the summertime!!!! OUCH!!!!! nothing says sexy like penny sized flakes of skin falling from your head when that burn starts to peel.

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 2:34:39 PM | | Hair isn't a big deal to me, although if you got it, why not use it? Hats on your head all the time irritate me (bald guys usually wear hats outside--they're colder, and the sun gets 'em). | |
|
| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 2:49:26 PM | Well SMitty, I agree 100%. But I've never had a sunburn. My g'grandma was full blooded Apache, so I tan easily. But do dry out in the winter from cold air. Nothing a dab of lotion can't fix. | |

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 3:12:39 PM | Ooooh, i'm in my element in this thread. Shaved heads are hot.. not the shiny really close shave but the really short stubbley look. Yup, i couldn't care if you was a real nazi it'd still get me going. | |

yeah...
convince them real good.
You are actually really funny!
On topic, Generally bald men are not my style, but i could be tempted.

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 3:26:17 PM | skin head is better than curls imo
dont know why but i always get this urge to stroke a mans head thats been shaved......ok im odd aren't i...please tell me im not alone in this?!

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 3:46:04 PM | Doesn't matter to me whether a man shaves his head or not.
If you like it shaved, then continue to shave.

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 4:14:08 PM | This is basically preference, IMO. But~ there is a *huge* difference in bald by choice and genetically bald. Not every man looks good without hair, trust me. I personally prefer men with hair. | |

| Women and guys with shaved heads Posted: 1/28/2008 5:36:05 PM | I like shaved heads but if a guy has big eyebrows and a shaved head he needs to sort the eyebrows..not into caterpillars..are they growing them into a comb over? | |

steve217: "...others think I'm a neo nazi..."
I recently started to shave my head because I used to just hit it with a #1 comb but figured why not take it a step further. I too have received the Nazi comment... I was like WTF? I'm part Native Canadian...
But most people just said it jokingly.
