| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 4:55:12 AM | Okay I have read 2-3 posts from ladies who have related a guys atrocious behavior to almost being as bad as him "peeing in the sink". What's so bad about that? Seriously. As long as you rinse whats the big deal? Maybe not if there were dishes in there but still ... if ya gotta go .
Silly question perhaps but I'm curious to hear what you say.

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 5:29:04 AM | if you gotta go, what's wrong with the toilet? Or even outside (since it's so easy for men).
But the sink? C'mon?! If my man did that, I would be livid --- dishes or not, there is a proper place to urinate and it's called a toilet, not a sink.

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 5:33:06 AM | Regardless of whether it will wash out it is just a matter of manners. Even in the unlikely event that I absolutely couldn't hold it for another second, I would never dream of climbing up on your counter and going in your sink. I'd step outside.
On the same note, I don't like people spitting in my sink either.

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 5:43:34 AM | Well, for one it is -40 outside. Ever hear of frost bite? Just kidding but really what is the big deal. It's not like you would die from it or anything. In certain situations I believe they suggest you can actually sterilize with it. Well, I see your point about crawling up on the counter. I'd be a little perturbed at that ...dragging yer dirty socks on my counter. Fortunately I don't have to do that to get the job accomplished. | |

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 6:21:29 AM | | Germs, bacteria, etc. No shortage of reasons that relieving oneself in the sink isn't a good idea. | |
|
| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 7:02:50 AM | Certainly not use the sink. You sound like Wayne off Harry Enfield.
If you are that desperate, use a bottle/bucket/whatever and dispose of it later/outside/down the toilet whatever works.
And don't pee on your hands or you will need to wash them after too!
|
| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 7:23:42 AM | On the off chance that every bathroom in the house is occupied AND it' s below 0* outside AND there was a blizzard AND there wasn't a spare empty bottle or can to borrow AND the diuretics had kicked in with great force, then I might be tempted to use the utility slop sink in the basement shop/laundry.
Besides, I don't know about the OP, but MY kitchen cabinets are between 32 and 36" high so unless you got the inseam of an NBA player or stand on a chair you're going to need washing up more than just your hands and the sink, know what I mean?

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 7:31:53 AM | I think it's gross, but would just add that urine is sterile. It contains no bacteria. Unlike most food these days. Urine is probably one of the cleanest things you can put in your sink despite the emotional ovetones.
Also as long as we're on this nasty topic if you look you can find a few people whose grandmothers used to wash their faces in cold urine to keep their skin tight. It does actually work they say and if you'll notice some of the more expensive and doctor recommended hand creams contain "Urea". You can just guess where that comes from.

|
| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 8:55:30 AM | If you have to ask what is wrong with a man peeing in a sink, then I feel sorry for any woman who encounters you.
After women read this post, say good bye to the messages you were receiving.
But to answer your question, peeing in a sink is vulgar and crude.
There is no reason why a man can't go to the washroom and use a toilet.
|
| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 9:39:18 AM | My greatest fear would be someone coming along and turning on the garbage disposal
But seriously, the water in the toilet can get mighty cold.
The real truth now. OP, you're welcome to come do your dishes in my toilet. Outside, no problem, but if I ever caught someone peeing in my sink, well, there'd be a lot more than just pee to clean up.

Unless you have that "sinking" feeling that you have to really go and that feeling is just "draining" you.

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 10:33:25 AM | You don't pee where you eat/clean food/have dishes that you eat off of.
I'm not sure why you think it's OK? Certainly, in your own home, you may do as you wish--pee in the friggin' jar by your bed, too, if you're too friggin' lazy to get your azz out of bed at night (I know at least TWO guys who do this--THAT is just lazy and sick).

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 11:04:54 AM | After your done peeing in the sink, take your dishes and place them in the toilet, add soap, and flush 3 times or until clean... | |

Known in some circles as a "pee sink"......

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 12:10:28 PM | BYRD you are referring to a very extreme case of some ill people.Normally people would not go pee in the sink. You would have to have something wrong with you to do things like that.An just because people do something in India does not mean we should do it here.In china eating cats and dogs is commonplace ,should we do that here?In certain countries they mutilate the genitals of little girls so it will prevent them from feeling pleasure, should we do that? | |

(Am I really doing this?)
Yeah, it's true.

Ear Ache
We had a teen girl that was in our care, by court order. We were foster parents. This 14 year old girl whose family came from one of the deep southern states, came to me and ask for a cup that was disposable. I gave her a paper cup and ask why she needed it. Her answer was quite a shock to me. She said she had an earache. She would urinate in the cup and pour it in her ear. That is how her granny cured earaches. Has anyone else heard this cure? Rose Deal
Yes; my Dad (who is in his 70s) told me that was his mother's cure for an ear ache. (My grandmother was from very rural east Texas, with Tennessee roots.) Your foster daughter's granny had access to a modern refinement - the disposable cup. Daddy said he learned, real young, to tilt his head a little to the back rather than forward, because the warm urine usually trickled out of the ear and ran a bit. I like to tell this cure to my children's pediatricians and watch their faces. Marie
Plus as anybody who spends time in the ocean knows is you step on a sea urchin or jellyfish the best thing you can do is to urinate on it. It's not really optional unless you really like pain.

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 12:47:43 PM | | The real question here is whether or not they have an indoor bathroom...I would assume if they did that he would not have to urinate in "any" sink. UCK !!! | |

| Peeing in the sink. Posted: 1/31/2008 1:11:38 PM | Are you ladies jealous because you CAN'T pee in the sink? Is this "urinal envy?"
