After skating around this site a bit, it seems the ones that post pictures are looking for romantic (or other) relationships. Those that post funny pictures (I love the mule, for example) seem to be the advice-givers, fun-seekers, and chatters.
As for Robetini's comment about being ugly... that's hardly a reason to not post a picture. It's not the character of the people on this site (my experience so far anyway) to disparage anyone based on their looks. And besides, my money's betting that you're not ugly anyway! | |

But I'm here to get some friendship, not a romance.
I'll never meet the people with whome I exchange thoughts (most probably).
I think it's not so important anyway and I still don't know how to get my picture on the screen, wel, I have a picture of Animal (muppetshow) ready.
But than I would have to ask Ticket or Admin to help me and I think it's not correct to bother them with something that I think is not important.
Waldorf: "You can say that again"
Statler: "No, I probably won't"
Anyway, I'm here to let my thoughts be a joy to the world, and if that's not working, my face won't help a bit. lol

Of course I'd get more hits if I did but are they people I want to talk to? If they aren't interested in me as a person then I'm not interested in them. If the person sounds nice and like there is a chance we are compatable then they can have a pleasant (at least I like to think so) surprise when I send a photo. | |

I have been talking to someone from POF in my area and he had a picture posted and I did not. But we talked alot and finally met last night....He is very taken with me as I am with him....Even though people post pics on here, you have no way of knowing if it is THEIR picture..Lots of cons everywhere...I have nothing to hide...just because I don`t have the knowledge that you computer literate people have...doesn`t mean I`m deceptive. I wouldn`t tell you that I am attractive, if I`m not...So, when you are by passing all the profiles without pictures....I`d think twice if I were you. Just a thought...redneckgirl133 | |

You imagine even if your only looking for friends to hang with, If you logged on and saw a pic of your wife you can guarentee that you would be pissed that she is on the site at all no matter if she s only looking to extend her friends base or meet people wih similar interests.
I think if requested yes a photo should be given but hey you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink lol | |
