| Scary profile/interests?
Posted: 2/6/2008 4:10:36 AM | I was told my profile and or interests were scary. I looked at my profile and changed it here and there but I'm still just getting gawkers on my profile. How can I make my profile more attractive? Should I add or subtract something?

Posted: 2/6/2008 4:33:36 AM | Well, if you were a man, I'd date you as I have very similiar interests to you. And because of that, I know a majority of people would find those types of interests intimidating and too much. Paganism is a word that for many would have negative connotations. Instead of having so many specifics listed under interests you may want to pick a few more general terms(like one or two) as well as the other more mainstream interests. Besides, you then repeat half of those in your paragraph. I am a very spiritual person but that is only one part of me and a part that a lot of my dates haven't necessarily followed themselves, but they've been open to hearing about it on the actual dates. So save the majority of that for a date. I'd say your limiting yourself from meeting a lot of interesting people because they may be overwhelmed by the spiritual/seeking of truth aspect of yourself they aren't seeing the other aspects shine through.

You may want to take off at least Talk/email as some guys are nervous about putting down Dating or Long term and view Talk as the first stage of something and if things go well at that stage are happy to move onto dating. | |

I think your profile is great and speaks volumes as to the type of person you are!
and you could always be ballsy and send a first message too! (I have, and it didn't hurt.....that much hah)

Posted: 2/6/2008 6:20:36 AM | I get it all the time because im into wicca. All I do is light a few candles on the full moon maybe read my Tarot cards. Dont know what people think I get upto there's some funny people out there.
I work in the public sector with kids and if i did half the things people say us so called witches get upto I'd be out of work lol.
If your looking to meet people with the same outlook on life as you I would leave your profile as it is. Keep the faith good things come to those who wait, if you want someone to love you for who you are just be honest in your profile.
