I've noticed that there are a lot of POF members on here that live in those states that were hit so badly last night by tornados and severe storms. Hope you are all ok and that while you may have lost material things, those can be replaced. I pray that was all you lost.

I work for the City of Benton Arkansas Office of Emergency Management as a 911 operator and police and fire dispatcher and ambulance dispatcher for the entire county. On April 3rd approx 930 PM we took a hit from an EF-2 tornado with a 4 1/2 mile track which damaged a couple of residential areas, a car dealership and destroyed about 75% of a mobile home park before moving on the the next town over giving them fits as well. We were very lucky to have had no loss of life that night. It was a really wild night with the tornado and the sighting of a funnel cloud that missed Benton but did touchdown in an unpopulated area of the county causing nothing but downed trees during it's short 2 mile track. We also had some major flash flooding which resulted in numerous houses being evacuated, an apt complex and an entire street also had to be evac'd. We received over 8 inches of rain that night alone and so far this month alone we're in the neighborhood of 16-18 inches of rain. Add that to the 10-12 inches we got in march and the 5-6 in Feb. and the 6-9 in January and we've had our share and are more than happy letting some other locations have some if they want it. I'm pretty much over it now, . We lost a rescue truck which was responding to a swift water rescue call when they found the hard way that a section of the road they were on had been washed away completely. No one was injured in that accident. Here are a few pictures.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Ok we can't post images apparently so I have no images to show unless someone just wants to see them. If so, please ask me and I'll send them or find some forum to post them.
