I noticed that to...it would be cool to have one in CT. I noticed one of the last ones was here in Milford where I live a couple years ago at the Milford bowling alley. If they had one there now I would go as I am there a few times a week bowling with my friends.

If there aren't any events maybe we could get together and meet sometime W*T*F*! If you are up to it I am...let me know! It would be nice to meet you!

Ive looked at events for the area and agree, there is nothing for Connecticut that Ive been able to find. When Ive checked into the Harford area Ive been told that a lot of people dont show up at the events that signed for it.

I live in Milford and have only seen one event scheduled at a bowling alley since Ive been here (4 months) it would be nice to meet people in the area I live in

Hosts on POF are volunteers so if you would like to organise something in your area please contact Forum Moderator when you have organised something before posting it or if you have any questions about how to go about it.

There are no designated hosts for any area. You can still host even if someone else has hosted an event there.

The first things to think about is:

1. What time of the day do you want to host something?
2. When in the week? Weekday/Weekend?
3. Do you want children to attend or adults only?

Then once you have decided on the day, time and the who you can think about the what..

So you have decided on your event, contact Forum Moderator and check the event is ok to post, then once you get the ok, go and post it here

Connecticut Singles Event Forum

It will appear in the main forum you will then need to mail Forum Moderator to ask for it to be moved and scheduled, remember to include the URL/Link address in the mail.

It will then get moved and scheduled, and you can ask for it to be fancied up too.

And don't forget to read the rules:

I think we should TOTALLY band together...
Start a POF militia group...

Errrr...
Maybe not a militia group But something where we can create singles events in CT... That sounds better, right??

I'm definitely going to try to follow this post...see if anything happens from here on out!

Don't forget to send me an invite. I don't get on the forums very often, and I was sick most of this spring. Still trying to catch up financially, or I'd consider putting something together. I know a few decent places in the area.

I see a lot of people complaining about no events in CT but no one is doing anything about it either. All talk = no action.......just name a place/time and be done with it

There was one, but then I got the middle finger again when I found out that it was 25 and up. To be honest, the age restriction was stupid. It was at a dance club/bar. It should've been 21 and up. I was looking forward to it too.

The real funny thing is that no one had the decency to respond to my post in that thread or explain the age restriction. Heck, I'm 22, there was no reason why people in the 21 and up range couldn't have gone.
