Posted: 2/10/2008 3:06:50 AM | Thanks to everyone who came and made the Glasgow meet a night to remember.
Hope you all had a good time despite the venue being too small to accommodate the numbers involved.
A big thankyou to glasgowrose for the paper roses and fish labels, they went down a treat and think at one point just about every person in the pub had a fishy label on!
Gus and Russell, you were both marvellous hosts, thankyou so much for your enthusiasm!
Apologies to anyone who couldn't get into the Maltman and couldn't get through to the number posted, the pub was too noisy to hear anyone and too busy to get out to the door every five minutes, although hopefully you all either got to Madness or another venue and met some fish.
The pics are fantastic and should be uploaded by tonight.

Looking forward to the next meet, maybe I'll get some new bait and try to catch a fish the next time round!!

Madness was great it was my first time in there, ended up in the casino won 50 grand and a new car (aye right)!

Forgot to mention to all the fish that you should give yourselves a big pat on the back for being so friendly to everyone, and for all the people who had the bottle to come on their own, that took a lot of courage and well done to you! Sorry if there were some on their own that slipped through the net and we didn't get a chance to catch up with you and get you into company, please don't let it put you off coming to the next meet, we'll get you hooked up i'm sure!

Its was a great night and couldnt believe how friendly everyone was, which eased a lot of nerves im sure! Can i say a personal thanx to everyone who was so helpful to me as i attempted to take my friend who is in a wheelchair to the toilet! thanx for all the nice comments and sorry if i ran over a few peeps toes! oops! lol! .......Cant wait till the next one now......as iv still to cast my line too!!!.....was too busy enjoying myself!!
