This is a game I made up, and I'm going to be beta testing it in the winter. The game is called "FROCKY!" (yes, with the exclaimation point) or Fish iced hockey. Bascially, what you are doing is taken a frozen fish, and placing it on an iced over tennis court. You get about 6 people in this court wearing football padding, a welder's mask (with a light grade glass), and a Lacrosse racket, while wearing rollerblades. The object of the game, is to knock the fish up off the ground, and hit someone with it. There will also be an angled ring on each end of the court which will also be worth points. There are several obsticals, staying standing being one of the hardest to get used to. Not only are you on rollerblades, but you are on rollerblades... ON ICE! Next, would be dodging the fish and not falling on your keester and tearing up your armor. Then there is aiming and timing, as well as speed. Not to mention it will be a little hard to see, as the light grade glass in the welder's helmet will make it seem almost like night time. Here is the points layout- Headshot - 12 points Ringshot - 10 points Torsoshot - 5 points Arm/leg shot - 8 points Here is the game layout- Each team will have one side of the tennis court. The team consists of 3 people per side, maybe 4 (haven't decided yet). If you cross the line, your team loses 5 points. If you fall out of bounds, your team loses 5 points. If you break the fish, well... we all laugh. The teams knock the fish back and forth at the appropriate targets, which are free to try and make an attempt at dodging, and protecting the ring. (I've not decided if there would be any point to having a goalie, far easier to take a torsoshot and let the other team score 5 points instead of 10.) --- Now, I am open to suggestion about changes we could test during the beta, feel free to post them. THIS IS A SERIOUS GAME! It's ment to be funny as hell, as well as fun as hell. Also feel free to post your opinions and comments, all are welcome. Who knows, it could be the next big thing! Just recieved a suggestion, to get points if you hit a bystander or spectator, thoughts / opinions?
