Okay, I got a bottle of white in the fridge, my corkscrew arrived from Calgary, and my nails are done. What can I do now?

Just recently moved back to PEI after six months in Calgary with a fantastic guy (who, sadly enough, I had to leave out there) and about 999,999 incredibly rude/cranky/immature people. And of course, I move back in the winter when there is nothing much to do, especially when you're allergic to the cold like I am.

So, start threading people, I'm bored. Tell me what I can do in the winter. And keep it clean, I'm a good girl.

I don't know why anyone would request deleting this!! Seems like a perfectly legitimate conversation given the weather we have been having Maybe the flamethrowing emoticon will keep us warmer!!

Well , I have found that the more you do in the winter, the more enjoyable doing things is. This year , for the first time in ages, started back at gym, and playing badminton. Maybe doesnt sound like much, but gives me something to do 5 times a week at least. (and almost never get a hangover from too much excercise lol)
One of the side effects of this new regime is that you feel better about things around you, (including winter) Something about transferring the negative energy of persistant winter into positive energy..I guess..
Anyways..works for me..and keeps me going with, if not a smile , at least less of a scowl.

Got that right, thatguy...In fact, it's still going on. Plows are still off the roads, and basically, the Island has shut down.

What a fantabulous way to start off the year!!

I love the snow...the only thing I don't like about winter is the amount of daylight..so I bought an ott lamp amd that has helped. I live in the country and the trees are fantastic covered in snow. The best way to deal with winter is with a warm parka and good boots...other wise, lots of books and DVd's.

Happy New Year
