| Anyone up for a Dublin Event? Posted: 2/17/2008 4:21:54 PM | | Everyone else seems to be doing it? I just thought it might be an idea to have a meet in Dublin for Irish POF's.. Anyone agree? | |

(Forums are used by less than 4% of the userbase).
Most attendees do not use the forums and find out about events via word of mouth, green links above the inbox and the mass mail sent out about an event to a 10K radius of the venue.

| Anyone up for a Dublin Event? Posted: 4/6/2008 7:13:08 PM | good luck. i am sure that it will all go well. just pic a pub or place to meet and let people know about it. look at the size of the glasgow meets now. they are great nights. what i found wasthat lots of people were saying they wanted a meet but no one wanted to make the first move. so i decided to have a meet and about 40 or more turned up for it. i was not bothered about the numbers because my intention was to use the first meet as a start point and get people thinking about it. now others are arranging meets all over the place and getting lots and lots of people going. so just go for it and watch it grow.

| Anyone up for a Dublin Event? Posted: 6/9/2008 7:15:40 AM | There's loads of great venues in Dublin..
There's a really nice Cafe/bar serving food and drink till quite late in Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, I can't remember the name but it's also very spacious and the atmosphere is good there plus the prices are very reasonable, comparatively.
And that part of the city centre is a good place to be because it's close to all the good nightclubs and there is always lots of people milling around, buskers on the streets etc.
