| A recipe for "Parkin" a Danish slice Posted: 2/22/2008 1:35:00 AM | | Years ago, we had a Danish exchange student make a slice called "Parkin". She said farmers would eat this very filling slice before heading off to milk the cows in the early morning. It was very sustaining made with oats, it had a heavy cake consistency and I remember it had golden syrup in it. Has anyone heard of it, or know how to make it? | |
