| How far will you drive for a date? Posted: 2/22/2008 9:09:59 AM | | It's probably lame but I don't like to go far outside 95. It sucks too because the more I do online dating the more it seems like all the coolest people in Massachusetts live in Worcester. What's your limit? You hear about some guys who'll come all the way from NYC, which doesn't seem on the level to me. | |

| How far will you drive for a date? Posted: 5/12/2008 7:03:16 AM | | I would drive up to about an hour. I think it depends on a number of factors. Ihad dated a woman until recently that lived an hour and a half away. Despite an amazing match ,the passion shared the love given, it came down to if you two want to get married, who moves where? If your need to stay in proximity of your existing area and the distance is to great to live together, then it's to far. She had to stay in her area and I had to stay in mine. Work and family considerations. Some people can live anywhere and transplant in a heartbeat. Others can't. | |

You obviously don't know what you are missing, I have taken a flight to a different city to meet my date. And it was worth it.

I'd go an hour but if I was sure it could be the one, I'd travel anywhere.

| How far will you drive for a date? Posted: 10/16/2008 1:34:51 PM | I have and will travel up to an hr....but beyond that would seem a waste of time. The man I date now lives in RI, and I live in MA. I don't mind driving to see him, because he's a great guy.
I suppose it depends on the circumstances and the commitment you have to the person. I don't see that an hour commute is bad, and if a person has issue with the commute you can always meet half way.

| How far will you drive for a date? Posted: 11/15/2008 5:23:08 AM | | To me the question isn't how far to drive for one or more dates, it's how much tedious driving you'd have to do in the long-term if things developed. A two-hour drive for a date can be a fun adventure, but the same drive week after week can be a painful problem. I'm not saying a given person isn't worth it, I'm saying why be willing to put yourself in that position in the first place? | |

| How far will you drive for a date? Posted: 12/18/2008 10:25:57 AM | I would drive up to two hours to meet and/or date someone. Maybe more depending on how interested I am in someone.
At that point the drive out for the date isn't the issue, it is getting back in one piece late at night :)
