...OR tell us how far out of the way someone went to get YOUR attention...

When I was 13... I really.. I mean REALLY had a crush on this girl who lived in the apartment above in the building I lived in... and my sister told me she could fix me up to get her attention *she then snapped her fingers* "Like that!"
Thereafter... she promptly (I let her) die my hair black... like Elvis... and when my mom came home and said it didn't look right because my thick eyebrows were brown... she died them black, too... and bought me a vest as red as a Peking parade... and a shirt to go with it... and black levis, black shoes and black sox..
DAM I looked good...
but then after I did all this stuff and I was "ready"... I discovered her apartment was empty... I should have struck when the iron was hot.  | |

Today... OMG the guy was so HOT, so incredibly hot! I was the cashier supervisor and the cashier flashed her light after he left and asked if I saw him. I spotted him before he even got to the registers. She was speechless and she's NEVER speechless, he was so incredibly good looking.

Posted: 2/25/2008 3:42:00 AM | I'd say hi. If it's at a club, I'll ask what kind of drink she'd like. Won't bother with flowers or any other indirect attempts to get noticed by her.
Getting my attention is simple. Figure out what my unlisted phone number is and call it. It's simpler than it sounds, and has guaranteed results. :) | |

Posted: 2/26/2008 5:41:04 AM | Having read a number of the forums over the last couple years there seems to be a theme to these kind of questions. Fear of rejection. If you are truly interested then do what you need to get their attention, minus, say running into their car with yours. Allot of the time the near misses are supposed to be exactly that, the universe says its not yours to have. I have no quams about just going up and talking to to them, if they won't give you the time of day, then is this the kind of person you really want to be with. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. | |
