First and formost I would like to thank everyone than came and made the day as wonderful as it was.
I am not going to say to much I think the story should be told by you all, so please let us all know how you felt about the day, the good and any that you feel might help with future events.
I would like to thank all of for so many different things, Flamining for taking the lead to Kilcoy and Sleepless for all the effort he put into the run home, to all the riders that gave the girls a ride on there bikes it was a champion effort. To all the people that contrubited to the BBQ after.
This was another truley amazing group of people, each and everyone person was friendly and so willing to contribute where they could. I have been to 2 events now and looking forward to the camp at Easter , even though I wont be actually camping I will be making the effort to go and visit everyone.
So please post your story about the day and any thoughts on future event ideas .
I will post again later I just wanted to get this started so that we could put the photos up. If you don't want a photo of you on then please let me know.

thanks again to Maxine for organising such an awesome day, I have been on lots of runs will all sorts of prople, clubs, guys who have ridden together for years, but ive never been on one better organised and planned, turned out excellent and everyone had a ball, met heaps of good people and hopefully we will organise regular get togethers and all catchup soon. looking forward to hearing all about peter's plans for future events, seeya all again soon i hope, take it easy,

The one this weekend was a great day out and I'm sure everyone who attended this one will be at the next one. Imagine if everyone who had a bike could bring along one friend who had a bike. That would be over 40 bikes......
If anyone sees a Brissy profile with a bike in it, maybe they should send them an email with a link to this thread so they can see the pics and also a link to the next ride.

Well its the day after and I am rather sore. Not from the ride , I slept wrong , too tired and didnt get comfortable before I crashed.
Thanks to Maxine for starting things off. It all went really well. I believe everyone had fun and no-one had any incidents. See girls , motorcycle riding can be safe if the one in control isnt being an idiot and riding within the conditions. Speaking of conditions , wasnt it a beautiful day for a ride. Was a little hot when we stopped , but that aside when we were getting along the natural AC was cool enough. A swim would have been good though. I hope those who went back for the BBQ enjoyed the pool.
Speaking of Swimming , I will have to include a swim stop on the next ride. I will start a new thread for next month , and it will be a Sunday. Probably the 23rd March , south side this time , what do you think.
Also keep your eye out for the Easter Kenilworth camping trip followed by the Anzac weekend camping trip at Beaudesert. And finally , I will start a tread for a trip to the drive in one Tuesday nite for a movie and POF socialising.
Once again , thanks to the team , and all who went , I had a ball.

Posted: 2/25/2008 1:21:20 AM | Yes , was a good day , lunch was good.. especially sitting in air conditioning on such a hot day..
Sorry i disappeared after lunch and didnt say goodbye to everyone i met , but was getting very tired and sore from the blat up the range ( damn harleys slowing me down   ) and it was a bit hot in the leathers getting there ( slight heat stroke sunday ).
Was good to meet you all though , and it was the first "run" i have been on with other riders , as no-one i know has a bike.
Would love to have a pillion next time , as it will help keep me slow ( guess im a bit hoon at heart ) , and i have a lot of experirnce with passengers , so trust/saftey wont be an issue. | |

It was a fabulous day and night, thanks Mafato for arranging such a successful event for us PoF'ers and also to Sleepless for making sure no one missed a turn, took a wrong turn ect..
The bbq was fabulous and Mafato was the perfect hostess.. she even had a birthday cake for me 
I look forward to the next one...
