Posted: 2/26/2008 7:32:16 AM | Was listening to this on the radio this morning and it was pretty funny. Thot you guys may enjoy giving it a whirl.
Name something that would give you that sinking feeling.
Please don't make an entire list in just one post, name one at a time in your post and give other folks a chance to suggest some and alternate yours.
Keep it light - it's meant to be funny not morbid.
Here's some examples:
1. Driving away forgetting your coffee or purse is sitting on the roof of your car.
2. Realizing long after you left the ATM, that you forgot to take your money with you.
3. Dropping your cell phone in the toilet.
4. Dropping the last tampon you have - in the toilet.
5. Being caught on the smooch cam at a hockey game - with your sister!

yep, I've done it - more than once ........ as I sat and slowly watched my car idle until it ran out of gas waiting for help to arrive .......

Posted: 2/26/2008 4:05:29 PM | I am one of those fools who HAS FUSHED their cellphone down the toilet. It was at the PALADIN restaurant actually. I had my cell in pocket of jean jacket - finished my whiz - turned around and hit the flusher and at same time there it plopped into the bowl spinning around and BYE BYE.
I told management as I didn't want their toilet getting plugged. Next thing I knew some dude was in there with a MASSIVE COOKING fork fishing it out. Needless to say when I saw the cooking implement I have NEVER eaten there again. | |

I was talking with some friends, we all went to get off the bus and as the bus drives away, realized my son was still on board. Started chasing the bus yelling to stop and feeling like a idiot. Posted: 2/26/2008 6:22:08 PM | - years back, parked a standard car I had on a sloped parking lot in a plaza. Got that "feeling" and turned around to see my car rolling down the hill and smash into a car parked at the bottom of the lot.
- getting caught in Miami, with my pants down in the back seat of a car with a Latina girl I'd met......only to find out she'd um, stole the car and was wanted for robbery.
- Walking up to what I thought was my GF in a shopping mall, wrapped my arms around her, squeezed her, said hi....and as I went to kiss her I realized it's the wrong woman. REALLY good thing she had a sense of humour. | |

When you have been thru the same thing with various friends for various reasons and you see, hear and feel it happening again.
Each time you "try" a different tack ( or a varation of past experiences ) you still go thru the same thing....
or
- the "ex" starts being nice to you ....again ! ( What does she have planned ? What does she want, what's her agenda now ? )
- people who have absolute clarity about everything around them except what they. themselves are doing.. ( actually been guilty myself with this one ) . Thank god for true friends who tell you exactly how it really is with out a tainted view or agenda...
EDIT: you sent a PM to the mod's asking for your posting restrictions to be clarified and knowing you have a limit of five per day. You see the PM was opened but no reply.... and your on your forth post wondering if you'll be able to get to six or seven ? | |

Crazy freaking hectic .... traffic, everyone rushing in and out, a maze of cars honking, and screaching, like a freaking side show, dropping mitts, everyone bundled in snow suits and scarves, stuffing kids into your car because other angry parents are waiting to get into the parking lot too, driving off, turn around and realize the kid in the middle doesn't belong to you .....

Been there.
Or how about the feeling you get when someone tells you " I told you so" It's especially worse when you tell your friends how wonderful someone is, only for them to tell you their misgivings. You ignore them and continue your friendship with this person...Only to find out months later, your friends were right and this person is an ass. Doh! Fooled again!
After hearing about all these kid stories, I'm so glad I don't have any I would so be the mom with the wrong kids in the car | |
